The morning in Nice is beautiful, with the blue sky and the white of the hospital ward creating a sense of order and cleanliness.

The sudden arrival of the French police disrupted the order in the hospital. The police in Nice, having dealt with two won from the East for two straight days, couldn’t help but compare them in their minds.

Compared to Miss Wen who maintained the deanor of a socialite during the statent taking, the woman in front of them, dressed in hospital clothes and wearing a serene smile, gave off a completely different impression.

This woman with the passport na SU seed both young and sophisticated; she knew to answer the questions with the simplest terms while giving her testimony, explaining that her French wasn’t very good.

"Alright, Miss Su, according to you, Mr. Perro was here with you every day, and he has gone out now, correct?" the police from Nice asked again. The officers, who work in this famous French tourist city, mostly have big beards and ruddy complexions.

"Yes, it’s all because I was too greedy for the snowscape of Nice," Su Ziceng stuck out her tongue, now she had turned back into a little woman indulged in love.

"Excuse ," the door of the ward opened, and the man who entered was holding a cluster of fresh roses, the fiery roses carefully wrapped in paper. Perro’s gaze first settled on the hospital bed where Su Ziceng was sitting, and, before making eye contact with her, shifted away again.

Unexpectedly, the French police directly inford the local police in Nice to co for an inquiry, catching Perro off guard as he had traveled through the night. When he stepped outside the hospital and saw the police car parked there, he imdiately bought this bunch of morning roses, still wet with dew, from a roadside florist.

The bearded policeman from Nice first looked at Perro, neatly dressed, then at the roses in his hands, and finally at the sowhat shy female patient on the bed, chuckling, "You’re Mr. Perro, right? I’m a local police officer from Nice, and I need to ask you so questions."

Perro walked to Su Ziceng’s bedside, took down a bouquet of chrysanthemums from the vase, and bowed his head. He saw Su Ziceng’s face. It was thinner, but spirited, which eased his heart a bit.

"Shouldn’t I get a good morning kiss?" Su Ziceng said in Chinese, her eyes held no questions, only pure delight.

The policeman from Nice coughed softly and stepped outside, waiting by the door.

Perro felt that Su Ziceng already knew everything, yet apart from the demanded morning kiss, she didn’t speak of anything else. She did not ask about Wen Maixue or the truth behind Olson’s death but simply smiled sweetly at him. In her eyes, only trust remained; whatever he said, Su Ziceng chose to believe it all.

It seed that the snow avalanche not only helped him eliminate Olson, but it also removed the barrier that had always stood between them.

"As you command, my Queen," Perro said softly with a low chuckle. His morning kiss did not land on Su Ziceng’s forehead but chose to linger on her lips, more tempting than any rose, with a faint, sweet fragrance.

After leaving the ward, Pello sat in front of the Nice police officer, his eyes still holding the excitent left behind from the kiss before, simple and pure just like the hospital behind him.

"Such a young man, he doesn’t look like a murderer," the Nice police ford a prejudice and, thereby, softened their questioning tone considerably.

"My uncle is dead?" Pello was very surprised, as if it was the first ti he heard the news. The death of Count Olson had not yet been released to the public, and apart from a few people present at the scene, indeed no one else knew.

"Yes, it’s indeed a tragedy," said the Nice police officer, having collected all the evidence, stood up to take his leave, "However, for the innocent you, it’s good news. Once the case is closed, the count’s lawyers should find you. From any perspective, you are the legitimate heir to the Count’s Manor. By the way, pass along my blessings to the lovely lady inside; I hope she recovers soon."

After the police left, Pello walked to the end of the corridor and dialed Wen Maixue’s number. He listened with satisfaction to her phone still being switched off; she should be on the plane by now.

Then, he dialed Shang Yin’s number: "Shang, is everything ready on your end?"

"You finally deign to call ," Shang Yin stepped out of the Fei Building’s reception room, and through the window, he could see Mr. Fei in the opposite office talking enthusiastically with a group of bootlicking staff, "Let ask first, how are things on your end?"

"All settled," Pello glanced at Su Ziceng’s ward, the door was closed, but through it, he felt the illusion of being watched.

Shang Yin couldn’t help whistling, "Kid, you’ve now transford into the most sought-after diamond aristocrat in Europe," the Olsen family’s fortune was probably at least ten billion US dollars. Shang Yin, thinking that his own worth would be surpassed within a month, couldn’t help feeling bitter.

"Estate liquidation and identity verification will probably take another half a year. In the anti, we must settle everything in Z country," Pello wasn’t too happy about the Olsen matters; he was only reclaiming what he deserved. The affairs in Mo City were what he needed to resolve imdiately.

"Persuading the father and son of the Fei Family is just a matter of ti. I just need to get more wine and won for them, guaranteeing their obedience. But do you really want the Fei Family to build the tallest building in Mo City? Is infuriating Su Qingzhang enough for you to have your fill?" Shang Yin didn’t believe that Pello was so easily appeased. Giving up the simple solution of directly killing Olson, yet wanting Olson to die by his own son’s hand, this showed that Pello was not a simple avenger to be taken lightly.

"What do you think? If I just wanted to infuriate Su Qingzhang into a rage, would I need to personally join the Su Family? Would I need to make an effort to get close to Su Ziceng?" Pello looked again at the door; still no movent, yet when ntioning Su Ziceng, his heartbeat quickened a bit.

"Then let’s proceed with your plan. By the way, after everything is settled, how do you intend to deal with the won of the Su Family?" Shang Yin changed his tone. Now that Chang Chi was also his woman, he needed to ask how Pello planned to deal with them.

"Among them, only Su Ziceng is Su Qingzhang’s own flesh and blood. As for the others, if they still help the Su Family after it falls, then deal with them together. If they know when to back down, let them go," Pello had just finished speaking when he heard the ward door open a crack, and Su Ziceng’s face peeked out. Upon seeing him, she quickly retracted back in.

There was a brief pause on the phone. Shang Yin said a few words, and finally, Pello spoke, "Keep an eye on the Hang Family. I always feel that Hang Yishao’an has been too quiet recently."
