"Rember," Luna’s icy gaze remained fixed on Camilla through the digital screen, her voice dripping with frost.

"I want results before the banquet ends."

A sudden thought made her brows furrow.

"Wait—what about that man nad Sinclair?"

At her words, Easton’s nodding gesture froze mid-motion.

Sothing was definitely off.

Given how fiercely protective Sinclair was of his wife, it made no sense for her to attend alone in unfamiliar territory.

"I’ll send soone to investigate imdiately." "Wherever that man is, I want eyes on him at all tis."

Luna averted her gaze, her expression darkening like gathering storm clouds.

"I won’t tolerate any surprises."

"Understood."

Easton gave a solemn nod, his posture stiffening with resolve.

If it were an ordinary man, killing him wouldn’t matter much.

But this was Sinclair—he had to tread with extre caution.

The sa caution applied when dealing with Camilla.

However, Luna and Aiston weren’t the only ones keeping a close eye on Camilla.

"So, that woman is Camilla?"

Princess Kiara stood in the private room, her brow deeply furrowed as she observed Camilla through the one-way floor-to-ceiling glass.

She had to admit, the woman was indeed quite attractive.

Still, she refused to believe that Nolan could so easily take an interest in soone like her.

"Yes, that’s her," Gina stood beside Princess Kiara, her gaze locked onto Camilla with unmistakable envy and resentnt.

"It’s *your* birthday banquet, yet she’s dressed to the nines—who knows what she’s scheming?"

As she spoke, she subtly studied the princess’s expression.

Kiara remained silent, but the tight press of her lips betrayed her displeasure.

"Leave," she finally commanded, turning to Gianna with a cold, authoritative tone.

"Summon the butler for , and be quick about it."

"Yes, my lady."

Though Gina had no idea what Princess Kiara was up to, she knew it was undoubtedly aid at Camilla.

A glint of triumph flickered in her eyes.

If Camilla knew, she’d surely feel wronged.

Her gown was the epito of simplicity and classic elegance, her jewelry equally understated.

Any woman in the ballroom could outshine her in flamboyance.

But when soone takes a dislike to you, even your breath becos an offense.

Inside the grand ballroom, Camilla ignored the lingering gazes around her, casually picking up a champagne flute.

Her cool, striking eyes swept indifferently across the hotel’s lavish decor.

Despite being a stranger in unfamiliar territory, she carried herself with effortless poise—as composed as if she were the hostess of the evening.

Queen watched Camilla from a distance and sighed inwardly.

When would she ever possess the sa unshakable composure as Mrs Luther?

Not far from Queen, her sister Juliet also had her eyes fixed on Camilla, her gaze icy with barely concealed malice.

After the scandal broke, Harrison had called her repeatedly.

Between apologies, he’d revealed the mastermind behind the entire debacle: Sinclair.

The reason lay in that minor conflict at the auction.

It wasn’t that she particularly trusted Harrison, but given the Harrison family’s power and status, there were only a handful in all of E-country who would dare target them and still manage to keep a scandal from being suppressed.

As Juliet mulled this over, her hands clenched tightly at her sides, nails digging into her palms without her even noticing.

They had already gotten what they wanted—yet they still pressed their advantage aggressively.

Trampling the Harrison family’s reputation and her own dignity underfoot—it was simply too much.

"Look who’s here."

Just then, another wave of commotion rose at the entrance.

All eyes turned toward the door.

A man in an impeccably tailored dark suit strode in with asured steps.

At the entrance of the banquet hall, Harrison strode in, dressed in attire that cost a small fortune.

His handso face wore the sa composed smile as always, but a closer look revealed a shadow of gloom lurking in his eyes.

"Is that Harrison?

Harrison actually showed up?"

Harrison family’s scandal from the previous day had already beco the talk of high society, turning them into a laughingstock.

Naturally, the arrival of its central figure instantly drew the attention of most guests, and whispers soon followed.

"If Gina shows up too, tonight’s going to be quite the spectacle."

"Gina is friends with Princess Kiara.

Of course she’d co to her birthday banquet."

"She’s not just coming—she’s already here. I saw Gina’s driver waiting outside."

"Looks like we’re in for another dramatic showdown."

"I wonder how Miss Juliet—the victim in all this—must be feeling right now."

At that remark, many eyes turned toward Juliet, the woman at the heart of the scandal.

Juliet instantly masked the gloom in her eyes, lifting her gaze with a face even paler than before.

She bit her crimson lip, casting a fleeting glance at Harrison before lowering her head again, her eyes fixed on the wine in her glass.

Her delicate, pitiable deanor tugged at the heartstrings of those around her.

Many sighed inwardly, their gazes toward Harrison laced with unspoken scorn and disdain—though carefully veiled, given his status.

Only Queen made no effort to conceal the mockery in her eyes.

*Disgusting scumbag.*

Harrison’s gaze swept across the room, deliberately ignoring Queen as it settled on Juliet.

His eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of barely perceptible guilt flashing in their depths.

This ti, he truly wronged Juliet.

But the real culprit wasn’t him.

His attention shifted, landing on Camilla, standing alone in the crowd. His brow arched in amusent.

The next mont, he strode toward her.

The icy aura radiating from him stopped several people mid-step, silencing any attempts to approach him.

*What’s Harrison up to?

Lowering himself to appease his fiancée?

"Wait, isn’t Harrison heading straight for Mrs. Luther?"

The murmurs spread like wildfire as the crowd finally noticed Harrison’s true target wasn’t Juliet, but Camilla.

"Do the Luther and Harrison families have connections?"

"Judging from yesterday’s events, I’d say no."

"Besides, if he wanted to network with the Luther Family, shouldn’t he approach Mr. Luther directly rather than his wife?"

"Then what’s Harrison up to?"

"Could it be that even Gina and the Bernardo heiress aren’t enough for our playboy?" ...

Under the weight of countless curious stares, Harrison ca to a deliberate stop before Camilla.

"Mrs. Luther," he purred in a deliberately lowered voice laced with unspoken implications, "we et again."

Juliet’s grip on her wineglass turned bone-white, her eyes burning crimson as she watched the pair standing together.

What ga was Harrison playing now?

Nearby, Queen’s brows knitted tightly—though her concern wasn’t for the Harrison heir, but for Camilla.

What the hell is this scumbag doing approaching Mrs. Luther?

Queen pressed her lips together, thinking about Harrison’s notorious reputation and how Camilla was all alone in this unfamiliar place.

Without hesitation, she took a few steps closer to them.

Camilla withdrew her gaze from the banquet hall’s lavish decor and turned it toward Harrison.

She studied him from head to toe before curling her lips into a faint smile and speaking slowly.

"Sorry, but you are...?"

She had no idea what Harrison wanted—nor did she care.

Keeping her distance was the best way to deal with strangers.

Hopefully, he’d take the hint.
