"President Luther, you’re too kind,"

Harrison forced a smile under the collective gaze of the crowd, suppressing the fury simring in his chest.

Sinclair gave a slight nod before turning his attention to the Orlando couple beside him.

As glasses clinked and toasts were exchanged, the atmosphere regained its veneer of cordiality.

Yet Harrison’s expression darkened visibly, his face a mask of icy displeasure.

This was the first ti he had ever been publicly humiliated—left hanging with no regard for his dignity.

Juliet studied Sinclair, a flicker of confusion passing through her eyes.

*Does this man hold a grudge against Harrison?*

*But why?*

Nolan, noticing Harrison’s souring mood, glanced at Sinclair before allowing a knowing smirk to deepen at the corners of his lips.

*The enemy of my enemy is my friend.*

That principle would always hold true.

The royal family.

The three great dynasties. Camilla’s crimson lips curled into a faint smile as she discreetly observed the expressions of those around her.

Whoever among these people was connected to her grandfather’s disappearance—she would find out.

After exchanging pleasantries with the three major families, Earl Aston, and Sinclair, the crowd dispersed to mingle.

Soon after, other influential family heads and representatives made their appearances.

Stephen and Mr. Thomas were among them.

Given Earl Aston’s status, the circle around them was noticeably smaller than when the three major families had arrived.

Yet, every individual present held significant sway in their own right.

Once they had finished greeting another wave of guests, Sinclair and Camilla made their way toward Taylor.

Not to be left out, lissa tugged Vicente along to join them.

The mont she spotted Camilla, she imdiately released Vicente’s arm and linked hers with Camilla’s instead.

"Camilla, you’re finally here!"

Both Sinclair and Vicente frowned in unison.

Oblivious, lissa tightened her grip on Camilla’s arm, beaming.

"Peonies are the epito of elegance—this qipao suits you perfectly."

After all, as the saying goes, no woman ever tires of being complinted.

Even though it was late, Camilla still turned her head with a smile and asked lissa, "Did you just have dessert?"

lissa blinked in surprise before nodding.

"Sister Camilla, how did you know?"

*Did I not wipe my mouth properly?*

The thought made her cringe inwardly.

That would be beyond embarrassing.

Her gaze darted toward Vicente, silently pleading for help.

Camilla’s beautiful eyes sparkled with amusent. "Because your words are too sweet."

Only then did lissa realize Camilla was teasing her.

Pouting playfully, she protested, "Sister Camilla, I ant every word!"

Standing behind Taylor, Queen watched the exchange with a soft smile, her eyes betraying a hint of envy. Sinclair shot Vicente a pointed look—his aning crystal clear.

*I didn’t plan this.*

But with this little troublemaker around, what could he do?

Vicente, however, rely shrugged helplessly before glancing at Taylor.

Taylor observed the expressions of the two n before him.

For his sister’s sake, he spoke in a gentle tone.

"We still have so business matters to attend to," he said, glancing at Sinclair.

"Sinclair, why don’t we let lissa accompany Camilla to rest for a while?"

Naturally, Sinclair was reluctant to let Camilla out of his sight.

But given that Camilla was pregnant, he couldn’t bear to see her standing for too long either.

"Go rest for a bit, sweetheart," he murmured, his stern features softening the mont he looked down at her.

"We’ll leave soon."

Their purpose here had already been served—there was no need to linger.

Camilla smiled and nodded. "Alright."

Queen couldn’t help but look astonished.

Queen never expected the famously unapproachable CEO Luther to be capable of such tenderness toward his wife.

Love—or the lack of it—really couldn’t be hidden.

Mrs. Luther is truly blessed.

Queen gazed at Camilla, a sincere admiration rising in her heart. "Miss Bernardo," Taylor turned his head slightly, his calm eyes settling on her.

"Would you mind accompanying lissa and Mrs. Luther to the lounge area?"

After all, the E-country business circle was unfamiliar territory for both Taylor and Camilla.

Having Queen with them would make things easier.

Queen nodded without hesitation.

"Of course," She set down her wine glass, her smile warm as she addressed Camilla and lissa.

"Mrs. Luther, Miss lissa, let show you to the lounge."

Camilla returned the smile with a graceful nod.

"Thank you."

She rather liked this Miss Bernardo—her thoughts were as transparent as the emotions in her eyes.

As for the other one...

Her dark eyes narrowed slightly with sharp clarity.

After the trio departed, Taylor turned to Sinclair.

"Going all out with such a grand gesture—is this for grandpa Rodriguez?"

Sinclair and Camilla had enlisted Vicente’s help to locate the old man, and they hadn’t kept it from him.

Putting the pieces together, the connection was obvious.

"Mhm."

Sinclair’s gaze lingered in the direction Camilla had left, his eyes narrowing faintly before he responded with a nonchalant hum.

Vicente wasn’t the least bit surprised.

Taylor remained equally composed.

"Found any leads yet?"

Sinclair’s well-defined fingers idly toyed with

the glass in his hand as he spoke deliberately.

"The Harrison family and the Orlando clan can be ruled out, for the most part."

Sinclair had gained a thorough understanding of the Harrison family’s situation through Thomas.

As for the Orlando family—self-proclaid traditional aristocracy of E Country— The entire family was extrely xenophobic, insisting on hiring only E-country nationals even for household staff.

Any Arican—or any foreigner for that matter—would stand out like a sore thumb in their midst.

There was no way they wouldn’t notice.

Taylor caught Sinclair’s implication and narrowed his eyes, glancing toward Nolan and Earl Aiston.

With the Harrison family and the Orlando family ruled out, that left only the E-country royal family and the Nolan family.

But how would an old physician like Grandpa Rodriguez get tangled up with people like them?

"The Nolan family is the most prominent among the three great families," Vicente analyzed coolly from the side.

"Both in terms of power and status, they outshine the other two."

"As for the E-country royal family, though they no longer wield the absolute authority they once did, they still command imnse prestige and influence across the nation."

Taylor stopped there, leaving the rest unsaid.

"President Luther," Vicente continued, "since I’ve promised to help your wife find grandpa Rodriguez, I’ll see it through to the end.

If there’s anything you need, just say the word."

"Don’t worry," Sinclair took a sip of his wine and lifted his gaze to et Vicente’s.

"I won’t hold back."

With Camilla and Queen gone, many won began eyeing Sinclair and the others, their interest visibly stirring.

"Father,"

The golden-haired, blue-eyed E-country woman with an hourglass figure had a fleeting glint in her eyes as she spoke to her father.

"I’m going to say hello to that Mr. Luther."

The middle-aged man with an aquiline nose glanced in Sinclair’s direction but didn’t imdiately agree. Instead, he gave his daughter a knowing look.

"Gina, he has a wife."

"I know," Gina replied, her red lips curling into a smirk.

"But a marriage certificate from San Francisco holds no weight in our country."

She tilted her head slightly.

"Besides, didn’t you want to get acquainted with Mr. Luther too?"

Like father, like daughter.

The man instantly understood her intentions and turned his gaze back toward Sinclair.

Indeed, soone like the Luther Family’s heir wasn’t easy to et, let alone befriend.

What’s more, the two n standing beside him were no ordinary figures either.

Gaining the attention of any one of them could an boarding the Luther Family’s influential ship.

His eyes lingered on his stunning daughter for a mont before he finally nodded.

"Go ahead.

But rember—keep it appropriate."

"Don’t worry," Gina purred. Gina adjusted the deep red, figure-hugging halter dress to her satisfaction before making her way toward Sinclair and his companions.

Her intentions were unmistakable—after all, Sinclair and his circle were the most striking n at tonight’s gala. In re monts, the scene drew the attention of many.

Especially the other socialites who had been hesitating, too timid to approach.

"What’s Gina up to?"

"Isn’t it obvious?

She’s making her move on them."
