"Madam, Sir," The butler’s voice carried in from outside the room.

"Everything is prepared."

Prepared?

What exactly?

Mrs. ga had a sinking feeling that whatever the butler was bringing had sothing to do with her.

Mr. ga narrowed his eyes, the anger on his face slowly subsiding.

"Co in," Grandma ga’s voice was icy.

Her razor-sharp gaze remained fixed on Mrs. ga, unwavering.

Mrs. ga’s heart pounded like thunder. What is this old hag up to now?

The door swung open, and the butler stepped inside. In his hands were three copies of a docunt.

The butler placed one before Grandma ga, handed another to Mr. ga, and— Another copy was placed on the floor before Mrs. ga.

Propping herself up with effort, Mrs. ga squinted at the docunt.

"Divorce papers?"

She lifted her gaze directly to grandma. ga, her lips curling into a mocking sneer.

"Having your son divorce —is this your way of pinning everything on ?"

Grandma.

ga narrowed her sharp, rheumy eyes, her grim face shadowed with a gray pallor.

"You were the one who kept this from and my son.

How is that pinning the bla?"

She turned to Mr. ga.

"Sign it.

Our ga family has no need for a daughter-in-law who acts so willfully, with no regard for the bigger picture."

Mr. ga stared at his wife with darkened eyes, his expression unreadable.

Before he could speak, Mrs. ga gave a bitter laugh, her bloodied lips twisting.

"Let’s be honest—your family doesn’t just reject won like .

What you truly can’t stand are normal won."

Her voice dripped with venom.

"What you really want are heartless, selfish vipers—just like you!"

She knew all too well the depths of this old woman’s cruelty.

After all these years in the ga household, she had seen it firsthand.

Previously, she had endured the humiliation out of consideration for her status.

But now that all pretense of civility had been torn away, there was no need to hold back anymore.

This woman had truly lost all reason, throwing caution to the wind.

The butler was startled by Mrs. ga’s words and imdiately cast a wary glance at the Grandma ga.

"You vile wretch!!"

Even the Grandma ga, usually so composed, couldn’t maintain her calm now.

Her breathing grew noticeably heavier.

She snatched the teapot beside her and hurled it straight at Madam ga.

**Crash—**

The teapot, filled with scalding water, struck Madam ga’s head before shattering on the floor.

Steaming hot water splashed onto her skin.

The sharp pain from her forehead and the burning sting on her flesh made Madam ga cry out in agony.

She raised her head, glaring furiously at the Grandma ga, just about to speak—

"You—"

Grandma ga’s voice was low, deliberate, and icy enough to send chills down one’s spine.

"One more word of nonsense, and I’ll have your tongue cut out right now!"

The sheer venom in the old woman’s words struck fear into Madam ga, forcing her to swallow the retort on her lips.

"What are you still doing here?" Mrs. ga turned sharply, unleashing the full force of her fury on Mr. ga.

"Why don’t you just listen to your mother and sign the papers? It’s not like you haven’t already lined up the next Mrs. ga out there, have you?"

She wasn’t oblivious to Mr. ga’s dirty little secrets.

Back when Antonio was still around, she couldn’t have cared less about those won.

But now that they were divorcing, all the dirt she’d gathered would serve as solid evidence to squeeze every penny she deserved out of him.

"Sign it."

Mr. ga’s temple throbbed visibly as his wife’s sharp command cut through the air.

His voice dripped with icy ambiguity.

"Of course I’ll sign," he sneered, the pen trembling slightly in his grip.

"If it weren’t for the ga family’s reputation, I’d have dumped this haggard old hag long ago!"

Haggard old hag?

Mrs. ga clenched her jaw, the insult burning like acid in her chest.

No woman could endure such degradation—least of all her. Snatching the pen from the butler, Mr. ga scrawled his signature across the divorce papers with theatrical finality before shoving them toward her.

Her gaze flickered between the matriarch silently observing from the sofa and her husband’s stormy expression.

With a steady hand, she signed.

What she failed to notice was the triumphant glint flashing in Mr. ga’s eyes.

"The papers are signed," Mrs. ga said, tossing the pen aside like discarded trash. Her voice could have frozen hell itself as she addressed the room.

"Now let’s discuss exactly how much of your fortune I’ll be walking away with."

"Don’t forget, I have concrete evidence of Mr ga’s infidelity.

If the compensation doesn’t satisfy , I’ll go public and ruin both his reputation and the ga family’s standing."

She knew all too well how much the ga family valued their public image.

For that reason alone, they would have to compensate her handsoly.

But what surprised Mrs. ga was the reaction—or rather, the lack of one.

Neither the matriarch nor Mr. ga showed much anger at her threat, as if they had anticipated it all along. "You... don’t actually think I’m bluffing, do you?"

"Whether you’re bluffing or not doesn’t matter," the elder Mrs. ga replied coolly, lifting her teacup for a slow sip before continuing, her voice laced with frost.

"No one would believe the words of a ntally unstable patient, now would they?"

A... ntally unstable patient?

The term struck Mrs. ga like a physical blow.

Her pupils flickered in disbelief.

"What do you an, ’ntally unstable’?

Explain yourself!"

The corner of grandma ga’s lips curled slightly, though her expression remained devoid of warmth.

"Show it to her."

The ga family did indeed care about their reputation—just not in the way she had expected.

Therefore, there was absolutely no way they would give this woman any opportunity to tarnish their reputation.

"Understood," the butler nodded in comprehension, handing another docunt to Madam ga.

Line after line of dense text assaulted her vision. —

A psychiatric evaluation from the Judicial Appraisal Institute declaring her ntally unstable?!

Madam ga’s pupils dilated in shock before constricting sharply.

When she looked up at Grandma ga and Mr. ga, her eyes burned with disbelief and fury.

"You... you..." She could never have imagined that the people she had lived with for decades would stoop to such depths.

A suffocating rage lodged in her chest, choking her.

"I’m not sick!

I won’t let this go—my family won’t let this go!"

Though her family was far inferior to the ga’s they were still a minor influential clan.

They had so sway with the dia, at least.

"Her family?"

Mr. ga watched as Mrs. ga gasped for breath, her face contorted with rage.

His expression remained icy, unmoved.

"Your father has already accepted compensation from the ga family and agreed to our terms.

Do you really think he’d go back on his word and sacrifice the future of his entire family—just for a daughter who married out over twenty years ago?"

With every word he spoke, the color drained further from Madam ga’s face.

By the ti he finished, she was deathly pale, her legs giving way as she collapsed to the floor.
