"No,"

Tiffany shook her head with a soft smile.

"Camilla would never stay mad at .

Since there’s nothing seriously wrong with , there’s no need to worry her."

She turned her gaze to Antonio.

"You’ll agree, won’t you, Senior ga?"

Her tone made it clear she wasn’t giving him room to refuse.

"Of course," Antonio’s lips curved slightly, his handso face softening with a faint smile.

But a closer look would reveal that his dark

eyes held no trace of warmth.

"Your head injury hasn’t fully healed yet, so you need soone to monitor you.

If you don’t want to trouble Camilla, I’ll arrange for a hospital caregiver to look after you."

"Alright," Tiffany nodded gently, her expression serene.

"Thank you, Senior."

"I have a surgery in half an hour, so I’ll go prepare now," Antonio curled his lips slightly, glanced at his wristwatch, and gave Tiffany a few more instructions before leaving.

The smile on his face vanished the mont he stepped out of the hospital room.

His assistant, waiting outside, imdiately fell into step behind him.

Inside the office.

Antonio sank into his chair, lit a cigarette, and exhaled a slow stream of pale smoke that cast a shadow over his handso yet grim features.

"Did you get anything out of them?"

The assistant nodded, his voice low and serious.

"It was Sinclair’s father."

That alone spoke volus.

In the eyes of others, Jonathan was nothing more than Sinclair’s father and Grandpa Luther’s son. As for himself?

Jonathan was hardly worth ntioning.

Jonathan?

So, targeting Tiffany was really a move against Camilla.

Antonio exhaled another plu of smoke, his dark, unfathomable eyes glinting with cold intensity as his gaze sharpened like a blade, fixed on empty space.

The waters in the Luther Family ran even murkier than he’d thought.

"We need to get Camilla out of here as soon as possible."

As the cigarette burned down to its end, Antonio stubbed it out, his voice laced with an unsettling chill.

"Make arrangents for Tiffany as soon as possible."

"Understood."

The assistant knew exactly what his boss ant and gave a firm nod.

"I’ll handle it right away."

anwhile... After Antonio left, Tiffany sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the card with the phone number in her hand, her brow furrowed.

Sothing told her this was far from over.

After a long mont of contemplation, she set the card aside and picked up the phone on the nightstand, dialing a different number.

The call connected almost instantly.

"Fanny?"

In the study of the Luther Family Estate...

"Sinclair," Grandpa Luther gazed at his grandson seated across from him, his voice slow and asured.

"Did you have Jonathan placed under house arrest?"

A matter of this magnitude couldn’t be hidden from him.

Of course, Sinclair had no intention of hiding it in the first place.

"Not just Jonathan.

None of those scheming in the shadows will escape," Sinclair lifted his eyes, eting his grandfather’s gaze with unshakable calm.

"Are you going to stop ?"

The weight of their combined stares pressed down like a suffocating force, freezing the very air in the study.

Uncle Carlos remained expressionless.

Ramsey, however, couldn’t help but frown, shifting slightly closer to his father.

"Stop you?"

Grandpa shook his head, his deep, ti-worn eyes carrying a bitter, rueful smile.

"I’ve been stopping things for years—I’m long past tired of it.

This ti, dig as deep as you need."

Sinclair narrowed his eyes.

"Not just his recent moves.

What happened twenty years ago... it’s ti to drag it all back into the light."

"If anything cos to light," Sinclair caught the implication in his grandfather’s words, his dark, almond-shaped eyes narrowing dangerously.

"Then I handle it my way?"

Grandpa gave a slow nod, his voice low and steady despite the bitterness lacing his tone—his resolve was unshakable.

"Your way."

Sinclair had always prided himself on his sharp judgnt, yet he had stumbled repeatedly when it ca to his own family.

In this regard, Sinclair had far surpassed him.

It was ti to step back and let him take full control.

Sinclair remained silent, but beneath his lowered lashes, a ruthless, bloodthirsty glint flickered.

Uncle Carlos exchanged a glance with his son.

They understood—grandpa’s words ant he would no longer interfere.

The Luther Family was about to be thrown into chaos!

anwhile, Jonathan remained oblivious.

Pacing back and forth in his study with a stormy expression, his eyes burned with impatience.

"Damn it!

Treating like a prisoner—dad completely lost his mind."

The few n standing nearby all kept their heads bowed, not daring to even breathe too loudly.

The fear in their eyes wasn’t just due to Jonathan’s rage—it stemd more from the movents happening at the main residence.

"Sir," the gaunt man spoke up first, his voice hesitant.

"The entire villa’s signals have been jamd. What should we do now?"

"What should we do?"

Jonathan halted mid-stride, his dark, venomous gaze sweeping over them.

"Are all of you just dead weight?

I’ve poured a fortune into keeping you around, and when it counts, not a single one of you can do a damn thing!"

The gaunt man flinched under the verbal lashing, shrinking back into silence.

The others lowered their heads even further, minds racing with calculations.

When they’d first thrown their lot in with Jonathan, it had been for two reasons: the hefty paychecks, and the promise of riding his coattails to glory.

But now, the situation was looking far too uncertain.

Jonathan took in their expressions, a vein throbbing at his temple.

Turning sharply, he sank back into the leather sofa, lighting a cigar with deliberate slowness.

His eyes, cold and calculating, never left them.

After a long silence, he finally spoke in a slow, chilling voice that seed to lower the temperature in the room.

"So, you’re all starting to plan your escape routes now?"

His words sent a jolt through everyone present.

They imdiately stiffened, their faces turning pale as they stared at Jonathan with fearful attention.

"Sir, you’ve misunderstood," one of them hastily replied.
