The data on the report was crystal clear.

Tyler and Jonathan shared no biological relation whatsoever.

"Was there any chance the samples could have been tampered with during delivery?"

Camilla lifted her gaze to Luke, her voice low and serious.

"Is there any possibility of error in the test results?"

Before taking the next step, she needed to confirm the accuracy of these findings.

"Rest assured, I personally delivered the samples.

No one else had access to them," Luke replied solemnly, then added, "As per your instructions, both samples were sent to three different testing institutions simultaneously.

All three produced identical results." In other words, the report was indisputably accurate.

A faint smile curled Camilla’s crimson lips as she handed the docunts back to Luke.

"Keep them safe.

Deliver them to Jonathan tomorrow when the engagent ceremony begins."

Consider it her gift for Tyler and Sandra’s engagent celebration.

Of course, this was rely one of many presents she had in store.

Luke understood Camilla’s intention and carefully tucked the appraisal report away again.

"Madam, what about President Luther?"

This matter was far too significant—he wouldn’t dare keep it from the boss.

"Don’t worry," Camilla replied, taking a sip of milk with an air of calm assurance.

"I’ll tell Sinclair myself."

"Understood."

Luke nodded, then suddenly rembered another pressing issue.

"Madam, now that you have the leverage to bring Margaret down, that woman Tamara is no longer a necessary ally.

Should I arrange for her to leave the capital?"

"Tamara isn’t your concern," Camilla said, her beautiful eyes glinting with icy resolve.

"Right now, the priority is to monitor any developnts from Mileage."

She exhaled softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Sinclair’s situation is what matters most."

And the one thing that weighed heaviest on her heart.

"Understood," Luke gave a slight nod. "I’ll see to it imdiately."

--- anwhile.

"Miss Tiffany," Calvin’s eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke in a calm, asured tone.

"Are you free tomorrow?"

"I just got discharged—I’ve got all the ti in the world,"

Tiffany’s voice paused briefly before brightening with unmistakable excitent.

"What, are you asking out for a ga?"

Ever since that night, she had beco utterly hooked on the ga.

Even during her hospital stay, Camilla had specially arranged for a nurse to play with her.

Now, her skills had improved by leaps and bounds, and she was itching to show off her progress to Camilla and Calvin.

Card? Despite his foul mood, Calvin couldn’t help letting out a quiet chuckle.

"I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint you."

"So it’s not card then," Tiffany murmured as she settled back down, her curiosity piqued. "Then what else could it be?"

"There is sothing," Calvin leaned back in his chair, idly twirling a set of keys between his fingers.

"I need your help with a matter."

Tiffany was baffled. What could possibly be beyond Calvin’s capabilities that he’d need assistance from an ordinary person like her?

"Are you sure," she asked skeptically, "that this is sothing I can actually help with?"

His voice carried unwavering certainty.

"Absolutely."

"Well then,"

Tiffany replied without hesitation,

"go ahead and tell ."

"Of course I’ll help if I can."

After all, they were friends now.

"Be my date tomorrow night—accompany to a banquet."

His date?

A banquet?

Tiffany’s beautiful eyes widened in surprise, her delicate features frozen in disbelief.

"Mr. Calvin, are you sure you’ve got the right person?"

Even without watching the news, she knew soone like Calvin was constantly surrounded by stunning won.

There had to be countless people eager to accompany him to events—why would he ask her?

"No mistake," Calvin replied without hesitation.

"I’m asking you, Tiffany."

Since Tiffany was Camilla’s close friend, it wouldn’t be an issue for her to know certain things.

Holding a pen between his fingers, Calvin gradually stilled his idle twirling.

His long, peach-blossom eyes narrowed slightly in contemplation.

Of course. She was the only one who could stand between him and Camilla without drawing objections—especially from that jealous control freak Sinclair.

"I don’t think it’s appropriate," Tiffany blurted out, caught off guard before quickly regaining her composure with a polite smile.

"After all, I know nothing about the etiquette of those high-society banquets. It’d be embarrassing if I made a fool of myself."

She instantly regretted her earlier impulsive agreent, her mind racing for a tactful way to decline.

"Besides, and also—"

"With there, no one would dare impose any rules on you or laugh at you," Calvin interrupted, the corner of his lips curling into a faint smirk.

"Moreover, the main reason I’m taking you is for Camilla’s sake."

The key to negotiation was striking where it mattered most.

"For Camilla?!"

Tiffany’s refusal caught in her throat.

"Doesn’t Camilla have Boss Luther with her?"

"Sinclair is away on a business trip—he’s not in the capital," Calvin replied, his long, peach-blossom eyes narrowing with a sly glint.

"He’s worried soone might take advantage of his absence to ss with Camilla, so he asked to keep an eye on her."

A smirk played on his lips.

"Though, it’s not exactly convenient for to watch her every move.

That’s why I thought having you around would make her safer."

Half-truth, half-lie—but it wasn’t entirely a deception.

So that’s how it was.

Tiffany recalled the brief account Camilla had shared about the incident at Grandpa Luther’s birthday banquet, and a ripple of concern stirred within her.

"Of course," Calvin continued, amusent coloring his voice as he noted her silence on the other end of the line.

"But if you’re not up for it, just forget I ntioned it. Who knows?

Maybe nothing will happen at the banquet anyway, right?"

"I’ll go," Tiffany blurted out quickly.

"I need to protect Camilla personally!!"

Calvin wasn’t the least bit surprised by Tiffany’s response. In fact, the mont he spoke, he had no intention of giving her a chance to refuse.

"Alright," he said softly, glancing at the ti. "Send your address.

I’ll pick you up now to get the gown you’ll need for the banquet."

With less than a day left, a custom-made dress was out of the question.

"No need for the trouble," Tiffany imdiately declined.

"There’s a mall nearby.

I can just buy one myself."

A simple, classic style would never go wrong. "You’re my plus-one.

Your dress should match what I’ll be wearing," Calvin replied, his tone light but leaving no room for argunt.

"So, I have to be the one to choose it." Of course, the real reason was to make sure he could foot the bill.

Asking for her help while making her foot the bill—that wasn’t his style at all.

"Fine..."

With no other choice, Tiffany reluctantly sent him the address.

Calvin quickly calculated the distance.

"I’ll be there in about half an hour. Wait for downstairs."

anwhile, at the Luther Family’s ancestral ho.

"That damn brat,"

Grandpa Luther sipped the tea prepared by Uncle Carlos, his deep-set eyes brimming with displeasure.

"Of all ti to go on a business trip—why now?"

His sharp gaze darkened as he scoffed.

"Mark my words, he’s just dodging tomorrow’s engagent banquet."

Even if Sinclair showed up, tomorrow’s event wouldn’t go smoothly anyway.

Camilla smiled faintly, a trace of resignation in her expression, though she kept the thought to herself.

So things simply weren’t her place to explain to Grandpa Luther.
