The Grand International Hotel was abuzz with activity.

As a renowned scholar in the dical field, Professor Robert’s birthday banquet had drawn many towering figures from the world of dicine.

Naturally, these were the very people aspiring dical students who longed to et.

Among them was the esteed Dr. Alex, who had recently conducted a dical examination for Sinclair.

"Camilla," Professor Robert called out warmly upon spotting his favorite student, beckoning her with a smile.

"Co over here."

A faint smile curved Camilla’s crimson lips as she casually plucked a glass of red wine from a passing waiter’s tray and made her way toward him.

She had always been the center of attention, her every move scrutinized by those around her.

And now, with the guest of honor himself summoning her, more than a few onlookers couldn’t help but frown.

"Professor Robert is playing favorites," soone muttered under their breath.

"We’ve been here forever, and he hasn’t bothered to introduce us to anyone.

Yet Camilla walks in and gets called over imdiately."

"Life’s just unfair like that," another quipped with a sigh.

"Well, if you had a face like hers—one that no one can resist—maybe you’d get the sa treatnt," a third voice chid in, half-joking, half-envious.

Of course, there were dissenting voices as well.

"Honestly, you guys are just being bitter," said a bespectacled man with refined features, his tone serious.

"All you care about is her looks.

Have you even considered her academic achievents and professional skills?"

"Let’s not forget, Camilla has been winning scholarships every single year."

"Exactly.

If any of you were half as outstanding, Professor Robert wouldn’t have taken notice either."

"Professor," Camilla greeted with a smile that was polite yet not overly deferential.

"Seniors."

Dr. Alex frowned slightly as he got a closer look at Camilla’s face.

There was sothing oddly familiar about this young woman—had he seen her sowhere before? "

Let introduce you," Professor Robert said cheerfully, gesturing to the group before them.

"Dr. Alex," One of the slightly plump elderly gentlen looked at Camilla with a smile and remarked,

"So this is the talented young lady you’ve been raving about—the one with such a remarkable gift for traditional dicine?"

"Exactly, this is the girl," Dr. Alex replied with a proud nod.

"Though she’s young, her mastery of dicine is exceptional—and she’s no slouch in Western dicine either."

A scholar who wasn’t particularly close to Dr. Alex smirked and chid in,

"Since you’re versed in both fields, let ask you—which is better, traditional dicine or Western dicine?"

There was no mistaking the playful challenge in his tone, a subtle test for the younger generation.

With scholars from both disciplines present, any answer Camilla gave would risk offending soone.

Noticing this, dr. Alex’s smile faded slightly as he prepared to intervene on her behalf.

Yet before he could speak, Camilla’s lips curved into a gentle but unwavering smile.

"Both traditional and Western dicine have their unique strengths.

In my eyes, neither is superior," she said, her voice calm yet resolute.

"The most beneficial approach to dicine is to integrate the best of both."

Then, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly with quiet confidence, she turned to the scholar and added, "Don’t you agree, sir?"

The scholar hadn’t expected Camilla to turn the question back on him.

An awkward chuckle escaped his lips as he replied,

"Ah, yes, quite right, quite right."

The atmosphere eased once more into comfortable harmony.

Just then, sudden movent at the entrance drew everyone’s attention.

Dr. Alex and the others turned to look.

Camilla, however, remained still.

Her captivating eyes lingered on the white rose pendant dangling from her phone, her crimson lips curling into a faint smile.

*Sweetheart...

I wonder what you’re doing right now?

anwhile, at the Luther Corporation.

The man’s gaze rested on the slender, graceful figure captured on the surveillance screen, his expression calm yet inscrutable.

A closer look would reveal the unfathomable depths hidden beneath his strikingly handso, aloof features.

At that mont, Ramsey strode in briskly.

"President Luther," he reported in a low voice,

"Today’s schedule has been cleared entirely as per your instructions."

He paused before asking,

"Shall we depart now?"

"It’s Senior ga!"

The crisp white shirt accentuated Antonio’s chiseled features, giving him an air of refined elegance akin to polished jade.

His tall, upright posture exuded a mature and distinguished grace.

The mont he stepped into the crowd, he effortlessly beca the most striking presence in the room.

A composed, faint smile played on his lips, but his gaze instantly sought out that slender figure the second he entered.

"It really is Senior ga!!"

"Even more handso than I rembered—today was definitely worth it."

"I heard he’s now one of the country’s top surgical specialists and owns dozens of hospitals in the capital. A true prodigy."

"What does it matter how accomplished he is?

Rumor has it he only ca back for Camilla." "I wouldn’t be so sure about that."

Whispers and murmurs rippled through the banquet hall as nearly every young woman couldn’t help but steal glances at Antonio.

anwhile, most of the n wore resigned expressions, exchanging wry smiles.

"Antonio’s here to steal the spotlight from all of us."

"Most of the won here ca for him anyway.

Did he even need to try?"

"Ah well, might as well go say hello.

Who knows, I might need his help soday."

Antonio’s current status and wealth made him the instant center of attention wherever he appeared.

Whether they were from the sa graduating class or complete strangers, everyone raised their glasses and approached him with ingratiating smiles.

Antonio endured the small talk patiently, though his gaze kept drifting toward one particular direction.

Camilla, however, remained lost in her own thoughts, oblivious to the commotion behind her.

A flicker of disappointnt flashed deep in Antonio’s eyes, though his expression betrayed nothing.

The other scholars couldn’t help but whisper among themselves.

Despite having returned to the country only recently, Antonio’s reputation had already spread throughout dical circles.

This rising star made them all marvel at how the younger generation was surpassing their elders.

Professor Robert watched with evident pride, his smiling eyes shifting between Antonio and Camilla.

This birthday banquet doubling as an alumni gathering had been Antonio’s idea from the start.

The purpose?

Naturally, it concerned the young woman by his side. One was his most accomplished student, the other his favorite—and with their matching looks and admirable characters, the professor couldn’t be more pleased to see them together.

Before long... "Professor," Antonio finally made his way through the crowd and was the first to greet Dr. Alex.

Only then did Camilla, her beautiful eyes flicker slightly, turn around and give him a subtle nod.

Antonio returned the gesture, a gentle smile playing on his lips.

"Co, let introduce you," Dr. Robert said, patting Antonio on the shoulder before presenting him to the gathered scholars and esteed seniors.

Antonio greeted each one in turn, his deanor exuding a poise that belied his age.

anwhile, Camilla stepped aside with a quiet smile, gracefully ceding the spotlight.

She picked up a delicate pastry and took slow, deliberate bites, silently willing ti to pass faster.

Throughout the evening, n approached her one after another—after all, opportunities to dine with a beauty like Camilla were rare.

She responded with polite but distant smiles, clinking glasses briefly and deftly avoiding further conversation.

Yet despite her aloofness, she was never without company.

Watching from a distance, Antonio’s deep-set eyes cooled with displeasure.

Fortunately, Dr. Robert was perceptive.

After completing the introductions, he turned to Antonio with a knowing smile.

"Young people have your own topics to discuss. It’s been years since you’ve been back—go catch up with them."

"Understood, professors.

I’ll head over first," Antonio nodded to the group before striding directly toward Camilla.

The senior professors exchanged knowing smiles as they watched.

Young love—what else could it be?

They’d all been there before.

Only Professor Alex suddenly paled, bolting upright from his seat.

Oh no.

It just hit him—he finally rembered where he’d seen that Camilla girl before!!
