“Shut up!” Gao’s Father shouted sternly, “It was ng Xinian who hit him, not you. When did you hit him? ng Xinian swung his stick at Jianye’s head with such speed, you didn’t even have ti to stop it!”
“What?”
“Are you really that stupid?”
Suddenly coming to his senses as if awakening from a dream, Gao Wei understood that from this mont on, his father was taking over the handling of this matter.
He nodded vigorously, “Dad, I understand, it was ng Xinian who hit him!”
“Now, go to the Fong Family imdiately, tell them Jianye was hit by ng Xinian, and take so mbers of the Fong Family over there! No matter what, first check if Jianye can be saved!”
Gao Wei panicked, “Dad, should I go to Uncle Fong’s alone? If Uncle Fong asks
why I didn’t stay to help Jianye, what should I say?”
“Are you really so stupid!” Gao’s Father scolded, “Can’t you say that after ng Xinian knocked Jianye down, he ca after you and, thankfully, you were quick enough to escape, otherwise you’d have been laid out too? Also, just say you saw Jianye get hit and fall, don’t ntion you saw him get hit on the head or saw any blood from the head! Do you understand?”
Otherwise, no matter the reason, Gao Wei’s fleeing from that situation would be considered disloyal, and thereafter it would be hard to explain to the Fong Family.
