Chapter 417: Chapter 417 Wild Tea Tree

The forests had grown even more lush, and the wild grasses had sprouted abundantly.

Inside, the path had completely vanished.

Chiang Xiao wielded a long, sturdy stick as a hiking staff, and she had also made thorough preparations, carrying enough Snake-Repelling dicine, along with so common dicines and hemostatic drugs.

So of them were made under the guidance of Chiang Songhai, using the dicinal herbs she grew in the Space, which were much more effective.

As she continued on her way, although Chiang Xiao had support, she dared not let her guard down and remained vigilant at all tis. It was clear that the deep old forest was truly different; walking alone in it gave one a sense of eeriness.

Moreover, with no path, it was difficult to tread, and her pace slowed down.

The deeper she went, the more pronounced this feeling beca.

By noon, she finally found a suitable place to rest.

There were no tall clumps of wild grass here, nor trees so dense they blocked out the sunlight. The grassy area was dotted with stones, patches of wildflowers, and occasionally, butterflies would flit by, making it seem like a hidden paradise.

A large tree stood alone in this clearing, its roots providing enough space for her to sit.

However, such large trees were easy hideouts for snakes, so Chiang Xiao carefully inspected the area after approaching. She heard no hissing sounds and saw none overhead, so she then sat down in the shade.

Her Space contained the buns and stir-fried Lizi her grandmother and auntie had prepared for her trip, as well as fried chicken chunks. She carried a water flask, which was filled with Ganoderma water.

After eating her lunch, Chiang Xiao stood up, ready to continue deeper into the wilderness.

She hadn’t gone far when she suddenly spotted a tea tree.

It was surely a tea tree, right?

She stood beside the tree, contemplating it for a while.

At least Chiang Xiao could recognize a tea tree, because Hu Xibing had brought back a booklet filled with various tea trees after his last visit.

She had flipped through it when she went to see him the day before yesterday, and had committed it to mory.

Since she had looked at it only a couple of days ago, the impression of the tea tree was still quite fresh in her mind, and the sight of one was therefore sensitively registered.

Yet, while she thought this tea tree looked familiar, she wasn’t completely sure, nor could she identify the type of tea.

This tea tree was as tall as she was but did not appear very robust.

Chiang Xiao thought for a mont and decided that since she was going to visit a tea farm with Hu Xibing soday, she might as well dig up this wild tea tree and plant it in her Space. Then she could learn about it later, in case there was sothing to be gained.

She didn’t have high demands; she just wanted to learn so tea-frying techniques. If it indeed was a tea tree, she thought planting it in her Space and occasionally harvesting so leaves for her own brewing would be sufficient.

After visiting Hu Xibing’s shop multiple tis, Chiang Xiao had overheard a lot about tea and knew that many types were very expensive. Hu had told her that so wild tea trees from the mountains were particularly sought after. Hadn’t she just struck it lucky?

With that thought, she imdiately took out a shovel from her Space and began digging.

Her strength wasn’t inconsequential now, so uprooting a tea tree like this was easy for her.

After excavating the tree, Chiang Xiao cautiously looked around for a while, not seeing any signs of other people. Then, taking the tea tree with her, she stepped into her Space. She cleared a spot and planted the tree.

Now she almost didn’t pay any attention to whatever she planted; everything just thrived exceptionally well in the Space. Moreover, there were no insects, and each leaf was clean and impeccably perfect.

If it weren’t for planting dicinal herbs, she felt that cultivating flowers for their aesthetic value could also be spectacular.
