Chapter 2017: Chapter 1953: Can’t Delay Any Longer
Didn’t she set her goals early on, aiming to elevate her social status, broaden her influence, make more money, and strengthen herself in preparation for facing that person?
Now that she has such an opportunity, why is she hesitating?
The marriage with Tyrant ng has already surpassed her original goals.
For her, marrying Tyrant ng now is even more important than revenge, which is why she is so conflicted.
Liu Guoying said, "Think about what you need to do now, and after I go back, I’ll have your teacher’s wife help out with whatever she can."
Chiang Xiao thought for a mont and said shyly, "Actually, there’s not much that needs to be done."
There are many things that ng Xinian should be able to handle himself.
Besides, it’s not about holding a banquet.
She just wanted to personally be involved in so of the preparations before the wedding, and also feared that if she delayed going back for so many days, ng Xinian would be disappointed, and Ah Liu would be waiting to have New Year’s Eve dinner with her.
This is, after all, the first New Year the father and daughter will celebrate after their reunion.
"I’ll go back first and explain the situation to them," Liu Guoying still felt she should stay, "If they have any objections, just say I forced you to stay."
Chiang Xiao burst into laughter.
"Honestly, teacher, if I don’t want to stay myself, you definitely couldn’t force ."
"Alright, alright, you have your own ideas," Liu Guoying, being used to her retorts, asked with slight annoyance, "Then think it through again yourself, there’s still two days left. Decide if you want to stay or wait for the contest results to co out and then decide, it’s not too late."
Chiang Xiao nodded.
The next afternoon, ng Xinian arrived at Capital City a little earlier, deciding to follow Old ng’s advice to custom-make two slightly formal outfits.
After returning, he first went back to the courtyard.
The gate was tightly closed, Ah Liu was not there.
I guess he was still in the hospital.
ng Xinian then turned and went to the hospital.
The first person he t was Chen Baoshen.
As soon as Chen Baoshen saw him, he imdiately glanced behind him.
"Xiao Chiang hasn’t returned yet?"
ng Xinian shook his head, "It’s been a while, Old Chen, Little will be back in two days."
Chen Baoshen sighed and called him over to the side.
"Has Xiao Chiang ntioned Sixth Young Master’s matter to you?"
"Are you referring to the surgery he needs here?" ng Xinian paused, pointing to his own head.
Chen Baoshen nodded, "It seems she has ntioned it to you."
"What’s the problem?"
"I’ve been observing Sixth Young Master recently and noticed he should be experiencing headaches every day, but he never ntions it, always enduring. If I didn’t know his situation and kept observing him, he might have fooled
as well."
Chen Baoshen appeared sowhat worried.
"So I’m suspecting that sothing inside his head has likely shifted, and the sooner the surgery is done, the better. It can’t be delayed for too long."
Upon hearing this, ng Xinian fell silent.
He could roughly understand why Ah Liu didn’t ntion the headaches.
Just by bringing it up, it would make Old Master Jiang and Madam Li very anxious. If surgery were feasible, they would definitely arrange it imdiately.
And this timing coincides conveniently with the date of his and Little’s wedding.
Ah Liu definitely doesn’t want to affect their wedding plans.
"You haven’t told Uncle Six about this, have you?"
"No." Chen Baoshen shook his head, "Originally, I planned to wait for Xiao Chiang to co back and ask if she’s t my old friend."
"Then let’s wait two more days."
"Alright."
Actually, Chen Baoshen also thought the year-end should not see any surgeries.
