Chapter 1847: Chapter 1783: Sudden Upheaval

It’s already afternoon, and although the sun was quite warm, the deeper they went into the mountains, the colder it felt.

Fortunately, Chiang Xiao’s space had everything. Each of them put on a jacket and frequently replenished with Spirit Spring Water. No matter how steep the slopes or how difficult the mountain paths, they could overco them.

The biggest advantage of having ng Xinian know the secret of the space was right here; there was no need to hide anything from each other anymore, and both could enjoy the conveniences brought by the space.

Moreover, up until now, Chiang Xiao had never seen a trace of greed in ng Xinian’s eyes.

It seed that in ng Xinian’s view, her entire being was his, along with her space—what need was there for plunder?

So, he had never considered such a question.

Moreover, in his heart, he always felt that he was much stronger than Chiang Xiaoxiao, so it was naturally more suitable for the weaker one to possess sothing with protective capabilities.

This way, he could worry a little less about her.

Walking along, learning languages, and searching for dicinal plants were not exactly easy tasks.

The deeper they went into the mountains, the more difficult it beca, and they occasionally encountered venomous snakes, so they couldn’t be careless. It was actually quite exhausting.

However, being together, they felt that this kind of exhaustion was nothing.

Chiang Xiao’s gaze was constantly fixed on places where dicinal plants might grow, not noticing that sothing moved behind a boulder ahead.

At that mont, ng Xinian also didn’t notice.

"Let’s take a break," ng Xinian said, pulling her down to sit and rest, while he prepared to find a place to address nature’s call.

Although he could enter the space to freshen up, saying "I need to enter the space for convenience" felt a bit odd.

So he always found a place outside to take care of it.

Chiang Xiao responded, "Then I’ll munch on so pork jerky." She was hungry.

ng Xinian walked away, entering a small grove nearby.

Chiang Xiao sat down and took out so pork jerky from the space and started eating.

The pork jerky was made by herself. Normally, it wouldn’t feel so dry, but this ti, perhaps due to the tiring climb, she found herself a bit thirsty.

Thinking that taking out water directly wouldn’t attract any animals, she took out a cup of Spirit Spring Water. Just as she brought it to her lips, a foul-slling wind suddenly blew from ahead, and simultaneously, a shadow rushed toward her, enveloping her entirely.

"Roar!"

ng Xinian had just finished, fastened his pants, when he heard a tiger’s roar in his ear.

His expression changed sharply, and he imdiately sprinted toward Chiang Xiao.

Just upon exiting the grove, he saw a scene that almost made his heart stop.

A fierce tiger was pouncing toward Chiang Xiao, its front paws nearly on her shoulders.

"Dodge quickly!"

ng Xinian yelled as he drew out his gun.

At that mont, Chiang Xiao was inwardly regretting her carelessness.

How had she not noticed this fierce tiger had already lurked so close to her!

As she was about to enter the space, a shadow suddenly leaped out from the grass beside them, biting ferociously at the tiger’s neck.

This sudden change took Chiang Xiao by surprise, and she didn’t slip into the space.

The tiger imdiately abandoned Chiang Xiao, first dealing with the one attacking it.

Focusing her gaze, Chiang Xiao saw a gigantic snake battling with the tiger.

It was an extrely thick snake!

And it looked very fierce.

Moreover, it was extrely agile, tangling with the tiger and leaving it helpless for the mont.

"Roar!"

"Hiss!"
