Chapter 1758: Chapter 1694 Farewell
"Great Officer ng, we will miss you."
"Yeah, Great Officer ng, without you, it really feels like sothing’s missing in our camp."
A few Supervisor Guards stood at the door watching him pack his things.
ng Xinian packed up his things, stood up, glanced at them, and said casually, "Alright, what do you want?"
These rascals, did they really think he believed they were reluctant to see him go?
Just last night, the cafeteria erupted with cheers when they found out he was leaving—who were those cheers coming from?
One of the Supervisor Guards grinned and said, "Officer, we really don’t want you to leave, which is why we all ca to ask you for sothing to keep as a nto."
ng Xinian raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh? The last few guys asked for pork floss as a nto. What do you guys want?"
"What? The pork floss is gone?" The few Supervisor Guards exchanged glances, feeling a bit regretful.
"If only we had co sooner!"
"It’s your fault," two other Supervisor Guards beside him smacked him on the head, "saying you’re too scared, hesitating for ages, and now soone’s beaten you to it!"
The Supervisor Guard who got smacked shrugged his neck and said, "No worries, no worries, the officer must still have rabbit jerky! Let’s ask for that!"
"Alright, that’s what we’ll take!"
As they talked, they all eagerly looked at ng Xinian.
ng Xinian really couldn’t help but laugh and cry at the sa ti.
These rascals were clearly eyeing the good stuff Little sent him. Usually, they tried every trick in the book to snag a bit whenever they had the chance. Now seeing him leave, they intended to clean him out.
And they said it so grandiosely.
He opened the cabinet, pointed to a few jars inside, and said helplessly, "Alright, alright, whatever’s left is in here, take it."
The few Supervisor Guards imdiately cheered and rushed forward, each grabbing a jar. "Thank you, Officer ng!"
"Go on, go on, look, there’s nothing left. Let the others know so they don’t co for a wasted trip!"
After those Supervisor Guards dashed off, ng Xinian shook his head and picked up his luggage.
He didn’t know if he was too much of a failure or if the attractiveness of Little’s food was simply too strong, outshining him completely.
He glanced around the camp area, about to leave, feeling a bit reluctant in his heart.
But he wasn’t one to readily show emotions, so he remained calm on the surface, carrying his luggage downstairs.
As he reached the training ground, he suddenly saw a group of silhouettes.
Everyone was standing in formation on the training ground, facing him.
"Salute!" soone shouted, and everyone snapped into a salute.
"Farewell, Great Officer ng!"
Over a hundred voices rged into one, uniform and loud.
ng Xinian looked at them and returned the military salute.
He saw those rascals who ca for ntos earlier, smiling in the crowd, and ng Xinian ntally called them out with a laugh.
"Officer ng, we’ll be waiting for you to co back and visit us when you can!"
"Alright, I’ll co. Make sure you train well, don’t slack off. If I find you’re too weak then, I’ll resort to hand-to-hand!" ng Xinian waved his fist.
"Yes, sir!" Everyone loudly responded in unison once again.
ng Xinian exited through the main gate and saw the Jeep parked outside, striding over.
Yang Zhiqi sat in the car, glanced at him through the window, and teased, "That was quite a warm farewell. Didn’t you say these kids would tear up quietly, hoping you’d leave sooner?"
