Qin Xiaojun and the others turned to leave, busy with their tasks. Ye Wanqing glanced over at them and whispered, “Then I’ll ask Landi to co with .”
“Sure, go ahead.”

not being so specific was actually for your sake.”
“For my sake?”

Later, when you ask Uncle Deng about the job recruitnt, wouldn’t it be easier to talk without Xiaojun and Lili being around?”
Xie Landi froze for a mont. She hadn’t felt there was anything particularly awkward about discussing it in front of Qin Xiaojun and the others, but Wanqing was clearly looking out for her, right?
