Chapter 1198: Chapter 1199: Ignoring the Wild Boars

“Bang bang bang!”

Thin Tall Guy fired three shots, but due to extre fear and nervousness, all three shots missed the tiger completely.

The tiger approached him slowly and regally, like a king.

Thin Tall Guy held the gun with a pale face, his hands trembling as he stepped backward.

Bearded Man was right behind him outside a clump of bushes, shivering as he faced off with a snake as thick as an arm.

The snake continuously flicked its tongue, sending chills down his spine.

In front of them was the snake, and behind was the tiger.

My God, had they not checked the almanac before leaving?

But how could this be?

They had only heard of encountering wild boars at most.

“What do we do?” Both n stepped back and bumped into each other.

Bearded Man had also pulled out his gun, his hands trembling just as much.

He had no confidence he could hit the snake.

Moreover, he didn’t even dare turn his head to see how big the tiger was.

Thin Tall Guy also dared not turn around to look at the snake.

Who knew if the snake and tiger would pounce on them the mont they turned?

Maybe they could wrestle with the snake, but a tiger?

Wrestling with a tiger would be courting death.

“Shoot, fire!” Bearded Man gritted his teeth in determination, aid at the snake’s head, and pulled the trigger.

With a bang, the snake dodged, but it seed wary of the gun in his hand and did not lunge forward.

“Bang bang!” Thin Tall Guy also imdiately aid at the tiger and fired two more shots.

One of the shots hit the tiger’s body.

“I hit it!”

Thin Tall Guy cried out excitedly, but before he could revel in his excitent, the tiger had roared and leaped at him, knocking him to the ground.

Its ferocious white teeth were right in front of his eyes.

Thin Tall Guy scread, terrified to the point of wetting himself.

Bearded Man also scread and ran for his life.

To his surprise, the snake did not chase him but instead slithered towards Thin Tall Guy.

Chiang Xiao had run a distance when she encountered ng Xinian running towards her. ng Xinian hugged her tightly. “Are you hurt anywhere?”

“No, no,” Chiang Xiao quickly replied.

ng Xinian sighed in relief, about to speak, when a wild boar suddenly burst out from behind him. As he tensed up to dodge while holding Chiang Xiao, the wild boar, seemingly oblivious to their presence, grunted and rushed past them, leaving behind its rear.

“…” ng Xinian was montarily at a loss.

What was happening?

Then, he heard the roar of the tiger and the squeal of the boar ahead.

ng Xinian felt sothing eerie. “That boar isn’t about to fight the tiger, is it?”

Chiang Xiao forced a smile, “Uh, there might be a snake too…”

“Is this a snake-tiger-boar brawl?” ng Xinian asked again.

“Maybe it is…”

Chiang Xiao hadn’t expected this scenario; she was also conflicted about whether or not to save the person.

“You stay here, I’ll go check it out.” ng Xinian patted her head.

Chiang Xiao obediently nodded.

ng Xinian crept forward, parting the bushes, and the scene before him left him dumbfounded.

A tiger, a wild boar, and a snake were indeed tangled in combat.

A thin, tall man lay on the ground, his shoulder a bloody ss, cautiously trying to crawl away.

A ridiculous thought crossed his mind—were these three creatures fighting over such a prey?

Or should I say, food?

Not far away, a handgun lay on the ground.

ng Xinian silently walked over and picked up the gun.
