"You’re my daughter, and you dare to hit your mother? I raised you!" Zhao Xiuxia gritted her teeth. This little brat shouldn’t have been cared for!

"I’ve said it, you’re no longer my mother." Sun Chan said calmly.

The villagers soon gathered around. Zhao Xiuxia’s house had been causing uproars for the past few days, so her family’s affairs couldn’t be hidden. She wanted to sell Sun Chan but ended up getting beaten; everyone who saw it muttered, "Serves her right!"

Sun Chan said, "In front of all the villagers, I’ll make clear what I said at the hospital that day. I will no longer recognize you as my mother. From now on, Sun Family’s affairs have nothing to do with ."

"You’re dreaming! I raised you, you can’t..."

Sun Chan interrupted her, "You raised , no matter what the purpose was, I called you mother, and I wouldn’t fight with my sister over good things. You denied education, fed with gruel and vegetables, made do farm work from a young age, beat or scolded whenever you felt like it, I’ve endured all that. But you went too far by trying to sell to Zhou Jinzhu, and then to Xiong’er Ridge, I absolutely cannot bear it! You tried to sell , and I didn’t report you to put you in jail, that’s already more than gracious. If you want soone to be filial to you, you should at least act human!"

Zhao Xiuxia was so angry she started shouting and wanted to hit people, but she was stopped by Gu Junming. Although he lightly held her arm, Zhao Xiuxia was unable to get close to her.

Sun Lijuan also wanted to co over and hit soone, but with a slight movent, she felt a rush of heat below. She didn’t dare to approach, only standing there, seething with anger.

Seeing Sun Chan’s partner being handso and dashing, but she herself was ravaged by Zhou Jinzhu, that beast, in the cornfield, her face turned greenish with hatred. Yet she dared not move recklessly, fearing the villagers would find out. Her heart was urgent and furious!

Sun Chan said, "I want to transfer my household registration out now. We won’t have any relations from here on."

"You’re really not going to care about ?" Zhao Xiuxia’s voice changed. She hadn’t thought this way before; she couldn’t bear to let Sun Lijuan take care of her in her old age, not to ntion that she wouldn’t do farm work, so she planned to sell Sun Chan, and then let Sun Chan support her. All the work would be done by Sun Chan, and with no money, Sun Chan’s husband would pay.

Who would have thought Sun Chan wouldn’t recognize her anymore and even wanted to transfer her household registration!

Sun Chan continued, "I won’t care about you, but I won’t be stingy either. We can go to the village chief, and I’ll provide you with the usual elderly support fee as every villager does, but nothing more. You raised for seventeen years, supporting you for a lifeti is more than enough."

Zhao Xiuxia’s face turned blue, pointing at Sun Chan, unable to speak, tears streaming down from the anger.

"I raised you only to get this result? Such unfilialness, how heartless you are!"

"Do you an I should obediently let you sell to Xiong’er Ridge to be filial to you?" Sun Chan sneered, "You are a mother too, aren’t you afraid of being gossiped about? Selling to benefit you and Sun Lijuan, enjoying life while I suffer, aren’t you afraid of retribution?"

Zhao Xiuxia wanted to say she wasn’t afraid but rembered past events and stayed silent. She sat on the ground, beating her legs, wailing, "I raised such a worthless brat, I’m so angry I could die!" Tears and snot were all over her face.

Sun Chan looked at her coldly, not a hint of remorse. More and more villagers gathered, most sympathizing with Sun Chan because everyone has seen how she lived over the years. To think of exchanging her for money, selling her to Xiong’er Ridge, who does such things? Though so elderly villagers felt Sun Chan went too far.

After all, she was raised by her, sacrificing is still expected; her attitude is too cold.

Gu Junming wanted to invite the village chief, glanced back, just in ti to see Liu Yunlan, Wang Dan’s mother, standing over there; they had t before during the matchmaking.

Liu Yunlan saw Gu Junming and felt awkward too, "It’s really you? I thought you looked similar from behind!"

"It’s , Aunt. Please call the village chief. We need to resolve this matter today."

"Got it, I understand." Liu Yunlan quickly left; after all, he had t her daughter previously, and now Wang Dan was married, she still found him good.

Soon the village chief arrived. Did he not know about the Zhao family’s matters? He imdiately set up a table in the yard, and several parties involved sat down. Sun Sunchan and Gu Junming sat together, facing the fiery Zhao Xiuxia and Sun Lijuan. Villagers stood outside watching the show.

The village chief was soone who’d seen the world, recognizing Gu Junming’s epaulettes, knowing her rank wasn’t low, and showed so respect.

"You’re here to transfer Sun Chan’s household registration today, correct?"

"Yes," Gu Junming replied, "As they say, a forced lon is not sweet. Since so much has happened, the mother and daughter can’t possibly live together. Aunt Zhao shouldn’t hold onto Sun Chan forever; you aren’t a solitary elder; you have another daughter."

"Of course I have a daughter!" Zhao Xiuxia retorted angrily, "But I can’t just raise her for nothing, right? Now when she can earn money, she flies away once she’s grown wings? Aren’t you afraid of being drowned in spit by others?"

Sun Chan said indifferently, "I’m not afraid; my conscience is clear. It’s not that I won’t care about you; I’ll still provide you with living expenses. What else do you want? Must I cut my flesh to feed you both?"

"You little wench, all you know is to talk nonsense! When did I ever do that?" Zhao Xiuxia said, grabbing a cup from the table and splashed water on Sun Chan’s face, soaking her hair and clothes.

Gu Junming’s expression darkened. Before he could speak, Sun Chan grabbed a cup from her table and splashed it on Sun Lijuan’s face, who scread.

"What are you doing? Want to die?"

"I told you, whatever your mother does to , I’ll pay you back double." After saying, Sun Chan splashed another cup of Gu Junming’s water onto her face.

Luckily, it wasn’t boiling hot, but Sun Lijuan still whined in pain. Zhao Xiuxia rushed over to comfort her daughter.

"Are you alright?"

Sun Lijuan glared at Sun Chan, saying nothing.

Sun Chan took a towel handed by soone to wipe her hair, looking at Zhao Xiuxia trembling with anger, feeling an imnse sense of satisfaction inside.

Sun Lijuan said at that mont, "Don’t think because you found yourself a guy outside that I’m afraid of you! You’re not even married yet, bringing him here, what if he turns out like Ding Hu, you’ll still be abandoned, let’s see how arrogant you beco then? I bet he’s not even gonna marry you, just toying with you! With your personality, who would really want to marry a parentless wild child like you?"
