"Aunt Gu." Xu Nianji and Xu Nian’an stood protectively on either side of Xu Nianhua, hearing Fang Yue’s anxious yet reproachful words, Xu Nianji imdiately said, "We rushed over to help as soon as we got the call. Why do you make it sound like we deliberately ca late?"

Fang Yue was nearly furious, seeing Xu Nianhua shielded by Xu Nianji and Xu Nian’an behind them. She knew, without a clear explanation, these two brothers wouldn’t let her take Xu Nianhua.
Fang Yue hurriedly explained Gu Mingzhu’s situation clearly; coincidentally, a nurse ca urging for a blood transfusion. Fang Yue said, "Now do you believe ? We can’t delay any longer, if we do, Mingzhu won’t survive."

His words represented his stance clearly.
The nurse kept urging, Xu Nian’an accompanied Xu Nianhua for the blood draw. If his own blood type matched, he’d be eager to donate his own blood rather than Xu Nianhua’s. He reassured, "Little sister, if you’re scared just don’t look."
"Second brother, I’m not scared, can you ease up a bit?" Xu Nianhua looked at her second brother helplessly, his worried expression made her both amused and happy.
Xu Nian’an let go, his eyes scanning like radar, watching the nurse’s actions.
"Second brother, go outside," Xu Nianhua saw the nurse miss the vein twice and started urging him out, his intense gaze was putting too much pressure.
"I’ll draw it myself." Xu Nian’an was ready to roll up his sleeves and do it himself.
Xu Nianhua glared at him.
Xu Nianji pulled Xu Nian’an aside, smiling at the nurse, "Nurse, don’t mind us. We only have this one sister, if it weren’t to save soone, we wouldn’t bear to let her donate blood."
The nurse breathed a sigh of relief seeing Xu Nian’an step aside; his presence gave her imnse pressure, like being sternly watched by a teacher back in student days. The nurse smoothly drew the blood, quietly said, "Your two brothers are really good to you."
"Yes," Xu Nianhua nodded with a bright smile, feeling extrely fortunate to have such great brothers in this life.
"Little sister, have so red dates first." Xu Nian’an handed over the red dates from his pocket, hastily grabbed by Ji Ying en route. Later at Grandpa’s house, they’d definitely stew a chicken for her, as a good supplent.
