"Why are you here?" Gu Junhe stared at Pei Yicheng. He still vividly rembered their last eting!
Pei Yicheng had sarcastically suggested he eat whale to boost his brain, and he took a nasty fall, losing a tooth, making him suffer for days!
"He’s my boyfriend," Xu Nianhua stepped forward to say. She vaguely recalled Yining ntioned that Gu Junhe had once misunderstood that Brother Cheng and Zou Yaru were dating, and he even ridiculed Brother Cheng, calling him a pretty boy.
"Are you my long-lost cousin?" Gu Junhe sized up Xu Nianhua.
"Junhe, what’s going on here? He’s Nianhua’s boyfriend, how could he be a pretty boy, unless..." Gu Mingzhu waddled forward with her pregnant belly, looking at Pei Yicheng in surprise, thinking: From his deanor, he doesn’t seem like soone who leeches off others!
"Hmph." Gu Junhe snorted coldly. He didn’t want to talk about Zou Yaru. Whenever he thought of her, he wished he could just strangle her.
Even though Zou Yaru had explained repeatedly later that it wasn’t Pei Yicheng, Gu Junhe still rembered the tooth incident!
"Mingzhu, better remind your sister not to bring just anyone into the house." Gu Junhe’s words were loaded with clear sarcasm.
"What do you an by that?" Xu Nianhua was not backing down at all and directly questioned Gu Junhe.
Gu Junhe appeared as if he was concerned for her, saying, "I’m your cousin, and I’m only thinking of your best interests. Soone who befriends a pretty boy, what good can he be?"
"Then, may I ask, which of his friends is the pretty boy?" Xu Nianhua asked seriously.
Gu Junhe was at a loss for words, staring at Xu Nianhua, thinking how this cousin had grown such a pretty face, yet didn’t seem to use her brains?
"Nianhua, it’s possible Junhe made a mistake," Gu Mingzhu diated, but actually hoped Gu Junhe would say more.
"Junhe, what’s really going on?" Gu Hai looked at Gu Junhe. This nephew may not be the best, but he was family. Gu Hai scrutinized Pei Yicheng, thinking if he truly was a pretty boy, he’d reconsider allowing Xu Nianhua to be with him.
"Second Uncle." Gu Junhe looked at Gu Hai with flattery in his eyes, saying, "Second Uncle, I’m doing this for my cousin’s sake. This pretty boy is absolutely unworthy of her."
Gu Junhe pointed at Pei Yicheng, saying, "Yaru was previously completely infatuated with a poor chauffeur friend of his, who knows where they’re living happily now with that cheating woman!"
"What?" Gu Junhe’s mother beca displeased upon hearing that Pei Yicheng was a friend of Zou Yaru’s previous boyfriend. She mocked, "So people are shaless, not even avoiding married won."
"Do you have evidence?" Xu Nianhua looked sternly at Gu Junhe. She had no issue with him targeting her, but he couldn’t speak about Pei Yicheng.
Besides, regarding Cheng Hao and Zou Yaru, she had seen everything clearly as a bystander.
"Hah, who needs evidence for this?" Gu Junhe nearly rolled his eyes, thinking: This cousin is so naive.
"I know you’re talking about Cheng Hao. First of all, let’s clarify: Cheng Hao and Zou Yaru were in love; they were dating before you got married." Xu Nianhua spoke up to clarify, "The reason they broke up, and why Zou Yaru married you, I think you should have so awareness of, right?"
