"Gu Mingcheng, if you can’t get it together, just be careful you don’t exhaust your painting hand!" Xu Nian’an kindly reminded him while whipping cream.
These days, Xu Nian’an noticed that Gu Mingcheng’s hands were really amazing; his paintings were srizing.
"No worries." Gu Mingcheng saw Xu Nian’an had already whipped the cream for the second ti, yet he hadn’t even finished whipping the egg whites. He felt unconvinced!
He was determined to succeed.
Xu Nianhua had set all the dishes to stew, leaving the cream and egg whites for Xu Nian’an and Gu Mingcheng to whip.
With prior experience, Xu Nian’an found whipping much easier.
Gu Mingcheng had never done such things before, and he had already wasted five eggs due to lack of experience.
But, seeing Gu Mingcheng’s serious yet stubborn deanor, Xu Nianhua couldn’t help but offer a reminder: "Mingcheng, when whipping egg whites, start slow and then you can go faster later."
Xu Nianhua shared so of her personal tips and took the five chopsticks from his hands, reducing them to three.
"Second sister, let try!" Gu Mingcheng watched Xu Nianhua’s skilled movents, eager to give it a shot.
This ti, Gu Mingcheng followed Xu Nianhua’s rhythm completely, watching the bubbles increase, his sense of achievent grew higher and higher, until everything turned into snow-white cream. He excitedly shouted, "I did it, I succeeded!"
He was as thrilled as a child, joy filling his expression.
Xu Nianhua gave him a thumbs up.
Gu Mingcheng’s face flushed with excitent.
"Nice, you succeeded," Xu Nian’an praised, looking at his flushed face due to excitent, thinking how the age difference was big despite being just over a year younger than little sister. Gu Mingcheng seed like an immature child.
In his eyes, a sincere openness unlike that of Gu Hai and Fang Yue, who gave a fake feeling.
"Nianhua, look who’s here!" Sister-in-law Zhou He called out.
Xu Nianhua instinctively looked outside and, upon seeing that tall and handso figure, was montarily stunned and joyfully said, "Brother Cheng!"
Yesterday’s speculation ca true, and the corners of her lips involuntarily lifted. Her beautiful eyes suddenly sparkled brightly.
Xu Nian’an captured this scene, recalling the saying: ’A grown-up daughter can’t be kept at ho.’
"Are you making a cake?" Pei Yicheng’s gaze fell on her sparkling eyes. He loved seeing her smiling eyes, loved her radiant smile. He stepped forward and naturally took out a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe her sweat.
"Yes, I’m making a cake," Xu Nianhua replied, puzzled by Pei Yicheng’s actions, shy and lowering her head as she realized second brother and Gu Mingcheng were there!

Pei Yicheng calmly finished wiping her sweat before greeting Xu Nian’an, and his gaze fell on Gu Mingcheng, asking, "Is he Gu Mingcheng?"
Ling Dong had ntioned that Gu Mingcheng was staying at Xu Family.
"Yes, who are you?" Gu Mingcheng stared at Pei Yicheng, who had just wiped second sister’s sweat and gave her a look akin to Jiang Jing’s gaze at Gu Mingzhu. No, it was sowhat different.
Pei Yicheng’s gaze appeared more gentle, and that focused look made it seem as though second sister was his whole world.
