"Professor Fei, I feel that I haven’t learned enough knowledge at school yet, so I won’t go to Su Country just to join the buzz. Biting off more than I can chew," Xu Nianhua was very clear about what she was currently lacking.

Although she could understand most of what the teachers taught, another systematic study and the many foreign language books at Beining University enriched and solidified the knowledge she had acquired. The areas that once baffled her, now, slowly, she understood more thoroughly.

As for going abroad, Xu Nianhua was not interested. The moon overseas was no rounder than the one at ho, and she still couldn’t get used to sandwiches. She preferred two als of rice a day, soy milk buns and dough sticks in the morning, or rice noodles and wheat noodles. That was what she considered delicacies of life.

"Good, it’s great that you think this way," Fei ishu questioned Xu Nianhua on so topics, and Xu Nianhua answered them one by one.

In the field of language, Fei ishu was very thorough. She was proficient not only in English but also in French. With her broad experiences, no matter what Xu Nianhua asked, Fei ishu could answer.

Especially when it ca to French, Xu Nianhua displayed great interest.

She always felt that studying at Beining University for two years would make up for all her previous deficiencies and shortcomings, and after that, what was needed was personal experience, her own learning. The school’s teachers could no longer teach her English.

But now, hearing Fei ishu talk about French, Xu Nianhua was particularly interested.

Fei ishu was curious to test whether Xu Nianhua’s language talent was only in English or if it extended to other languages as well, therefore, Fei ishu intentionally started teaching her French.

It wasn’t known until she taught her, and once she did, it was a shock: Xu Nianhua’s language talent was indeed very impressive!

"Nianhua, do you want to learn another language, French?" Fei ishu encouraged her.

Upon hearing this, Su Xi imdiately said, "Mom, it’s tough enough wanting to master English, let alone learning another language. Where would I find so much ti?"

Xu Nianhua was known for her diligence in school, which Jiayi had ntioned, and besides, she had to take care of Xu’s brother’s store. Where would she find the ti to learn another language like French?

Fei ishu glanced at her own daughter, who had not inherited any talent for languages. From a young age, despite being at her side, beyond everyday communications, Su Xi was utterly uninterested in learning anything deeper.

It was a complete waste teaching her from a young age.

The only thing her daughter enjoyed besides music was nothing at all.

"Professor Fei, I want to learn," Xu Nianhua said earnestly; learning another language felt right to her.

People say, ’Live till old, learn till old,’ and she wasn’t old yet—she should indeed continue learning without stopping.

"Good, you are still young, and you should learn more," Fei ishu’s gaze toward Xu Nianhua beca even more affectionate and gentle. Xu Nianhua was very attractive, with bright eyes and white teeth, dignified and elegant, her lively and captivating eyes seed like they could speak, especially when she smiled; her eyes curved so sweetly that it was easy for people to feel good about her.

Strangely, Fei ishu felt that Xu Nianhua looked familiar, and it lingered even after Xu Nianhua had left. Fei ishu sat on her chair, eyes downturned, deep in thought about where she could have seen Xu Nianhua before.

Su Xi had left behind her wallet and was about to co back for it when she saw how Fei ishu was and thought she was going to be scolded again. Just as she was about to sneak away, Fei ishu spoke, saying, "Xiaoxi, I approve of you being close friends with Nianhua, but when will you be like her? Continuously learning?"
