"Nian’an, let help you." Ji Shuqin had nothing else to do, so he simply stayed to help, although he didn’t know the prices, he could still introduce items and take a look around the store.
All morning, he was so busy that he hardly touched the ground.
Despite feeling exhausted, Ji Shuqin thought Xu Nian’an’s boutique was doing exceptionally well. With such good business, even if each item didn’t make much profit, it could still amass a sizable sum.
He saw that everyone was buying things in small amounts, even items costing just ten or so, and these custors didn’t blink an eye at the prices.
Ji Shuqin hoped soone would be interested in his radio, and after lunch, soone indeed was.
It was a boy, a student from dical University, who took one look at the radio and was interested.
Ji Shuqin promptly approached with eagerness, demonstrating its functions. The boy glanced at the price and asked, "Can it be less?"
Ji Shuqin was about to say it could be less when Xu Nian’an intervened, "Sorry, all our boutique items are fixed priced; we don’t bargain."
"Okay, I’ll take two."
The boy said and directly bought two.
Ji Shuqin was still dizzy from the transaction as he collected the money and saw the boy off, feeling as if he were walking on clouds.
He pinched himself, felt the pain, and realized he wasn’t dreaming.
Before, ten out of ten would complain about the price, and now suddenly he had sold two?
It was too easy.
"Brother Shuqin, keep it up." Xu Nianhua cheered him on as he collected the money.
Energized, Ji Shuqin felt enormous confidence from the two radios he had sold, but unfortunately, he couldn’t sell the remaining two radios by evening.
"Nian’an, what is this for?" Just after filling himself with dinner, Ji Shuqin was baffled as he looked at the money Xu Nian’an was handing him.
Xu Nian’an said, "It’s the money from your radio sales. Why, don’t you want it?"
"I do." Ji Shuqin imdiately nodded, then handed back forty and said, "Fifty each."
"You bought the items, you keep the money," Xu Nian’an said. "Next ti I stock up from you, I’ll pay you fifty each then."
At this, Ji Shuqin’s eyes lit up.
Xu Nian’an then asked, "Can you find more people to sell radios to?"
Ji Shuqin shook his head and then nodded, saying, "Can’t find people, but, I can source the radios."
Xu Nian’an raised an eyebrow.
Ji Shuqin explained that his friend had disclosed the factory location to gain his trust; he rembered the address vividly, planning to make a trip to Yangcheng if things were really tight.
After all, the round trip to Yangcheng wasn’t cheap, so Ji Shuqin wouldn’t dare waste that travel expense unless absolutely necessary.
"Okay, I’ll turn to you for sourcing radios then," Xu Nian’an said and added a reminder, "Take a larger quantity at once, it’s not cost-effective to get too few because of the travel expenses."
"I wish I could, but capital is hard to co by." Ji Shuqin grimaced, not that he didn’t want to stock up; it was just that he hardly had any capital. He said, "Nian’an, once these four are sold, I’m thinking of making a trip to Yangcheng, it’s about the money owed to Nianhua’s boyfriend..."
"That money is mine," Xu Nian’an reminded him. "You can go stock up, but, are you sure the address and phone number your friend gave are correct?"
"Sure," Ji Shuqin affird. He had even spent a few cents to call and confirm their authenticity.
