"Grandma, you’ve made so much delicious food!" Xu Ting looked at the abundant dishes, deeply moved.
"You’ve gotten so thin. Your parents, honestly, should know to take better care of you." Jiang Wanru looked at Xu Ting with concern. Although she wasn’t her biological granddaughter, Jiang had taken her in when she was less than two, now she was a graceful young girl. Even raising a pet brings feelings, let alone raising a child to this age.
Jiang Wanru sincerely regarded Xu Ting as her own granddaughter. Because of Xu Ting’s acting career, she consistently talked to Xu Nianhua and Pei Yicheng about it, feeling she was too young to be running around filming, especially since the family could afford not to.

Nearing the start of the school year, Tiantian returned to the country with her parents, having been at her grandma’s overseas before, and she missed her little sister after two months apart. The two sisters joyfully shared stories of their sumr adventures. When Tiantian learned she had been filming, she was very curious.
Xu Ting explained, and Tiantian was eager to go, begging Xu Ting, so the two sisters went to the film set together.
This was the sa film set where Xu Ting had previously been. Although her scenes were finished, there were still scenes with the male and female leads to shoot.
As soon as they arrived, many people greeted Xu Ting. She smiled and responded, showing Tiantian around before asking, "So, do you want to act?"
"No." Tiantian shook her head. Her curiosity faded, leaving her disinterested, so she and Xu Ting went to the amusent park instead.

That night, Xu Ting ca down with a high fever.
Pei Yicheng got up at night to change Tangtang’s diaper, and when he found the diapers were out, he passed by Xu Tingting’s room, hearing sounds from within that puzzled him.
"Xiaoting?" Pei Yicheng knocked on the door.
When Xu Nianhua saw Pei Yicheng not returning for a while, and heard him call Xu Ting, she imdiately ca out with Tangtang and asked, "What’s going on?"
"Listen," Pei Yicheng suggested she hear.
After listening for a while, Xu Nianhua opened the door. On the big bed, Xu Ting was curled up completely. Xu Nianhua turned on the light, saw the red flush on Xu Ting’s cheeks, and imdiately said, "This is bad, Xiaoting has a fever. She needs to be taken to the hospital right away."
"I’ll go start the car," Pei Yicheng said imdiately. Xu Nianhua quickly responded, "You carry Xiaoting downstairs, we’ll go to the hospital."
Pei Yicheng paused, while Xu Nianhua, hastily intending to have her mother take Tangtang, took a few steps before seeing Pei Yicheng unmoved. She shouted, "Brother Cheng, what are you thinking? Xiaoting is your daughter. She’s got a fever. Aren’t you worried?"
"Right away." Without much thought, Pei Yicheng imdiately picked up the small, flushed Xu Ting and headed downstairs.
Hearing the commotion, Jiang Wanru realized Xu Ting had a high fever and said, "Nianhua, give Tangtang, you go with Xiaoting to the hospital."
