"Don’t say anything."
Xu Nianhua quickly reached out and covered his mouth, preventing him from speaking further. Her palm felt hot and damp, and she said angrily, "Yicheng, are you a dog?"
"I’m a monkey." Pei Yicheng answered earnestly, looking at her puffed-up cheeks like an adorable little pufferfish.
"Pfft~"
Xu Nianhua couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
She laughed until tears ca out, and she said, "Are you a dog?"
"I’m a monkey."
She repeated it again, the more she thought about it, the funnier it seed. Pei Yicheng looked at her confused, not understanding what was so funny.
"Ring."
The phone rang, and so Pei Yicheng ended up not getting his nap.
"Yicheng, go take care of your things, don’t worry about . My second brother called to bring so food to his place." Xu Nianhua started to shoo him away. Pei Yicheng hadn’t even left yet, and she already packed up her belongings, grabbing the red handbag. Truth be told, the red handbag not only looked festive but stylish as well.
"I’ll take you there." Pei Yicheng insisted on accompanying Xu Nianhua to Su Yan’s ho near the hospital.
She hadn’t even knocked on the door when it opened, and Li Xiuying said happily, "Nianhua, what brings you here?"
"Are you living here?" Xu Nianhua assud her second brother was busy and had no ti to cook, but unexpectedly, he was hiding a beauty here.
"Yes, I’ve been living here since you got married." Li Xiuying said with a smile, deliberately keeping it vague.
"Isn’t my second brother too much, secretly letting you live here, didn’t you have lunch?" Xu Nianhua reprimanded Su Yan, while handing over the fruits she brought—a waterlon, dragon fruit, lychees, and such.
"I already ate." Li Xiuying looked at these fruits, gratefully saying, "Thank you, Nianhua, how did you know I wanted to eat these?"
"My second brother asked to bring them." Xu Nianhua sized up Li Xiuying, pondering in her heart, what exactly was the relationship between her second brother and Li Xiuying?
At her wedding, aside from receiving Li Xiuying’s gift and knowing she was Su Yan’s friend, there was no ti to ask anything else.
"Su Yan is really nice." Li Xiuying’s face was full of sweetness.
Xu Nianhua curiously asked, "Xiuying, are you cohabiting with my second brother?"
Li Xiuying blushed and sighed, saying, "I live here, your second brother lives across the hall, and he’s so busy every day that I don’t even see him. He leaves here all alone, it’s so boring."
Li Xiuying was full of grievances, but her words carried a hint of sweetness.
"Xiuying, what do you do during the day?" Xu Nianhua had stayed here before, so she was fairly familiar.
"I make bags." Li Xiuying directly brought Xu Nianhua inside, and the big workbench in the room was cluttered. She said, "Look, these are my design drafts, and over here, these are my tools for bag making."

Since when was her second brother so easily fooled? She herself didn’t believe those excuses.
Xu Nianhua pondered in her heart, her second brother definitely had feelings for her, but why didn’t he make a move?
