"There are lots of witnesses, do you need to find them?" Xu Nianhua said calmly, in stark contrast to Jian ngyu who cried injustice, looking pale and powerless.
"Also, I do have a relationship with Shuxue." As soon as Xu Nianhua finished her sentence, Jian ngyu raised her head excitedly, looking as though she’d hit the mark.
Xu Nianhua’s lips curved slightly as she said, "He’s my cousin. If he doesn’t protect , his cousin, should he protect you, a woman who abandoned him and disliked him for having no money?"
"Didn’t you only co back to cling to Shuxue now because he’s making money?" Xu Nianhua ruthlessly tore off this facade, giving her no face at all, and said, "If you don’t leave, I’m going to call the police. By then, the truth will be investigated and made clear by them."
"I, you..." Jian ngyu heard the ntion of calling the police and panicked internally, glared at her fiercely, and turned to run away.
"Shuxue, you better keep your eyes wide open when finding a wife next ti. A woman like that isn’t worth your sadness." Xu Nianhua comforted, worried that Cai Shuxue wouldn’t be able to move forward because of Jian ngyu appearing again.
"Yes, Nianhua, rest assured, I will definitely be more clear-eyed in the future, and everyone should also be aware. Don’t get deceived by won like her." Cai Shuxue reassured Xu Nianhua proactively, explaining his relationship with Jian ngyu.
When Xu Nian’an realized sothing was amiss and ca out, Jian ngyu had already been driven away by Xu Nianhua. He exclaid angrily, "If I were there, I would’ve slapped her hard, her mouth is really foul."
"Second brother, don’t be angry. I’m not angry. Getting worked up over a woman like that isn’t worth it." Xu Nianhua remained calm, certain today would let Cai Shuxue see her true colors, preventing him from being so naive in the future.
"Second brother, Shuxue, if a dog bites you, do you bite it back?"
With Xu Nianhua’s words, she silenced both Xu Nian’an and Cai Shuxue. Cai Shuxue had co to discuss business regarding radios and watches, and after the eting was over, he hesitated to speak further.
"Shuxue, speak your mind," Xu Nianhua glanced at him and said, "Don’t tell the radio factory boss has gone bankrupt?"
"No," Cai Shuxue shook his head and said, "We bought a lot of stock, and the factory is willing to lower the price a bit if we do wholesale ourselves."
"That’s great," Xu Nianhua praised, saying, "Going into wholesales with more stock from the factory should make things cheaper for you, but isn’t there a lot of radio vendors in the city?"
"Yes, there are quite a few, but we found a great factory with good prices and variety. If it wasn’t a bit farther, the profits could be even higher." Cai Shuxue spoke confidently about business matters, and after finishing, he asked, "Nianhua, do you think she was really after my money?"
"Who?"
Xu Nianhua imdiately realized who he ant.
Xu Nian’an gave him a sideways look and said, "What else would she be after if not the money? Surely you don’t think she’s genuinely remorseful? Cai Shuxue, you’re not seriously thinking of her again, are you?"
"No," Cai Shuxue answered quickly, "A good horse never goes back to the stable. I’d stay single forever rather than go back to her. I just feel that people need to strive for themselves."
Xu Nian’an patted his shoulder, correcting, "You should strive for yourself, but not all won are like her. Loving you when you have money and leaving you when you don’t, that’s not true love."
