Chapter 751: Chapter 751: Prince, The Madam is Requesting Your Presence

Those ruffian friends of his were all stunned, and by the ti they reacted, Tang Jinghao had already tumbled down to the first floor like a balloon.

“Ouch! It’s killing !” Lying on the ground, Tang Jinghao let out a series of miserable howls.

In the hall, there was singing and dancing, with many n and won jesting joyfully, when suddenly, a loud crash was heard. Not knowing what had happened, everyone stopped and looked over…

At the staircase entrance, a young man clad in brocade clothes was sprawled out on the ground, screaming in agony.

“Huh? Isn’t that Young Master Tang from Prince Pu’s Mansion? What happened to him? Why is he in such a ss? I nearly didn’t recognize him,” recognized soone among the multitude of patrons.

Indeed, these young nobles often lingered in the Capital’s various brothels. Even without greeting each other, they recognized one another.

“Young Master Tang, Young Master Tang, are you alright?” His swindling friends finally ca to their senses, hurried downstairs, and hoisted Tang Jinghao up from the ground, fussing over him with false concern. Young Master Tang was their benefactor; they couldn’t afford any mishaps with him, or else they wouldn’t know who would settle this evening’s expenses.

“Ouch! It’s killing !” Tang Jinghao touched his face with his hands, pain written all over his features.

His clothes served as so protection, lessening the severity of his tumbling, but his face was not so lucky. Exposed and battered, it was bruised blue and purple – an utter ss. Now, he looked nothing like the confident man he had been just monts ago.

“Young Master Tang, how could you be so careless when walking? Ouch! Look at you, you’ve almost disfigured yourself.”

Tang Jinghao was equally puzzled. He didn’t know what had happened; he had suddenly fallen down the stairs.

“Who knows? Maybe today’s just not my day, bad luck from the mont I left my house,” Tang Jinghao resigned himself to his misfortune.

While they were making a commotion, Xuexue had swiftly exited through the door of Qinger Building, walked a distance on the main street, then turned into an alley. She looked around to make sure no one was in sight, leapt onto the rooftops, and disappeared into the vast night.

War Prince’s Mansion

Long Rui was writing sothing in the study when Long Yi, dressed in nightwear, walked in.

“Master, Miss Situ has returned to the mansion.”

“Hmm, it’s getting late. You should go and rest too,” Long Rui put down his pen.

“Yes, Master.”

As Long Yi reached the door, he paused, turned around, and said, “Master, today Miss Situ taught Prince Pu’s only son a lesson.”

“Oh! Prince Pu’s only son, Tang Jinghao?” Long Rui was familiar with this worthless scion, “How did she teach him? Did he offend Xuexue?”

“No.”

Long Yi thought for a mont before speaking, “I don’t know exactly what happened, but when Miss Situ was descending the stairs, she tripped him with her foot, causing him to fall face-first down to the first floor. He got a face full of bruises. I reckon he won’t be able to leave his house for several days.”

“As long as Xuexue isn’t hurt, that’s all that matters.”

Long Rui yawned absentmindedly, showing signs of fatigue. He had waited in the study for so long, just to hear the report from Long Yi about Xuexue’s well-being. Learning that Xuexue was unhard, he relaxed and imdiately felt sleepy.

“I shall take my leave.”

Long Yi bowed and exited. He had anticipated this outco. The Master deeply loved Miss Situ but refused to acknowledge it, and instead took her sister as his concubine. He couldn’t fathom what was going on in his Master’s mind.

After tidying up, Long Rui left the study and headed to his bedroom.

On his way, suddenly a maid appeared out of nowhere, “Prince, the madam has sent for you.”
