Madam Xie: “Never mind, Xuexue, don’t go. It’s getting late, and there probably isn’t much left in the kitchen. We can handle being hungry for a al or two; we endured much the sa at the Mo family.”
“The Mo family is the Mo family, but this is the General’s Mansion. I, the Eldest Legitimate Daughter, without food to eat—it’d be a joke if word got out.” After saying this, Xuexue walked outside.
