The woman who had just inquired at Madam Xie’s Xuexue Flower Shop about employnt carefully placed the pastry given to her by Madam Xie into her pocket. She didn’t want to eat it; she planned to take it ho for her child. Farrs were like that, unable to afford snacks on regular days. Whenever they got sothing tasty, they always wanted to bring it ho to delight their Little Kid.
She stood up, dusted off the dirt on her behind, and approached Xuexue with a smile on her face, trying to ingratiate herself, “Ah hehe…! Xuexue.”
Upon hearing this, Xuexue looked up. This woman didn’t usually associate with their family, but for so reason, she had been coming around often these days, “Aunt Zhang, what’s up?”
“Hehe, I hear from your mother that your town’s flower shop is quite large. You surely can’t handle it all on your own. Are you looking to hire help?”
Indeed, since the shop had opened, she had been so busy she felt dizzy and her eyes blurred with fatigue. Fortunately, Shopkeeper Fan had brought two assistants to help out. However, Xuexue knew that this was not a sustainable solution. After all, they were Shopkeeper Fan’s assistants and would eventually have to return to the tavern. They couldn’t help out at the flower shop indefinitely.
Employing help was sothing Xuexue had been thinking about. The shop had just opened and had been too hectic these past few days. Now that the woman had brought it up, Xuexue didn’t think twice and imdiately nodded, “Yes! Auntie, would you like to work there?”
Overjoyed at the prospect, the woman saw her efforts these past couple of days hadn’t been in vain, as she had indeed found herself a job. She nodded eagerly, “Yes, want to! Hehe!”
The other won who were around and had been eating pastries heard this and gathered together, “Xuexue, are you still hiring? Take us all! We’re just sitting around at ho anyway.”
It made sense. The busy farming season had just ended, and they were staying at ho with nothing to do. Earning a bit of Copper Coin to help support the family budget was a good thing.
Xuexue glanced at them, counting the woman she had just spoken with, there were four people in total!
The flower shop was spacious enough; four won would fit in nicely. She then said, “It’s possible, but there are conditions!”
“Whatever the conditions are, just say them.” As soon as the won heard this, their eyes widened. As long as there was work and Silver to be earned, no condition was a problem. At the current ti, finding a job was not easy.
Xuexue, “We’ll need two people to stay in town overnight to watch the shop. Is it okay if you don’t go ho at night?”
“That…” Everyone looked at each other, hesitant. Each had their own elderly and young ones at ho, and they really weren’t comfortable with not returning ho at night.
Xuexue continued, “I can hire all four of you. Then, you can take turns going back ho. With four rotating for night duty, this ans you’ll get to go ho every other night. What do you think?”

“Yes, yes.” Everyone was extrely excited and wanted to rush back to share the good news with their families.
Aunt Zhang took a few excited steps forward, but then stopped abruptly, as if she rembered sothing. She turned around, hesitating as if she had more to say, “Xuexue, about that…?”
“Aunt Zhang, what is it? Is there anything else?” Xuexue was about to walk back to the house when she heard her and stopped, turning around and asking in confusion. Was there sothing unclear about what she had just said?
