“We’ll see,” they had been eting each other too frequently. Lady Li couldn’t afford to be careless lest Mo Si found out.
Lady Li gave an evasive reply, and Erlaizi knew she was looking down on him for not having silver. He quickly added, “I’ll bring you the waterlons that you love to eat.”
Lady Li paused for a mont, unable to resist the temptation, and said without looking back, “Fine! See you tonight.”
After speaking, she left the bamboo forest, her mind still fixated on going to Mo Family Village to stir up trouble with Madam Ruan!
