Chapter 482: Chapter 482 Picking on Mistakes

Xie Residence

One morning, after breakfast, Xuexue and Big Bull headed up the mountain.

Chuner, that little girl, ran off early to play with Xiao Gougou and probably wouldn’t co back until past noon, unless she got hungry.

Madam Xie was a hardworking farr’s wife, and even though life had improved, Xuexue kept telling her not to work too hard and to visit Aunt Li sotis to chat and enjoy so relaxation, since Aunt Li was lonely and they got along well; they’d be good company for each other. But she just couldn’t sit still.

It was true, she had grown accustod to doing household chores for the Mo family, serving the large household for over a decade, and she indeed felt a bit uncomfortable being idle all of a sudden.

Not long ago, she purposefully bought two newly born piglets from the neighboring village to raise because she simply couldn’t stay idle, dood to a life of toil.

Madam Xie was busy chopping pigweed in the yard, so engrossed in her work that she didn’t even notice her sweat-soaked back.

It was at this mont that Auntie Sun barged in.

“Madam Xie, you stinking woman, with your poisonously wicked heart, did you have Xuexue, that cursed girl, spread stories about

everywhere in Mo Family Village? You’ve made it so that I can’t even lift my head there!” Auntie Sun stord in, her eyes fiercely glaring at Madam Xie, looking as if she wanted nothing more than to tear her apart.

Madam Xie was focused on her task of chopping pigweed when, out of the blue, Auntie Sun ran in and began to scold her, leaving her completely baffled.

“This is my ho, and you are not welco here; now get out,” Madam Xie retorted after regaining her composure, putting down the kitchen knife with a displeased look on her face.

This woman, not only had she destroyed her family, but she had also almost brought harm to Xuexue. Every ti she saw her, Madam Xie was filled with anger, and she was anything but polite in her words.

“Oh, now that you’ve made so money, you’ve grown a spine.”

Auntie Sun was incredibly envious. Back when Madam Xie was at the Mo’s, she never dared to speak to her loudly. But now that she had beco wealthy, the head of the richest family in Mo Family Village, even the way she spoke had changed, filled with so much more confidence; she was no longer the sa ek Madam Xie from before.

That morning, Auntie Sun had personally seen Xuexue and Big Bull head up the mountain, which gave her the courage to co cause a scene; if Big Bull had been around, she wouldn’t have dared to co, not even if she were given the courage of ten large jars.

“Answer , did you teach Xuexue that damned girl to spread nasty rumors about ?” Auntie Sun stepped forward aggressively and forcefully pushed Madam Xie.

Madam Xie stumbled, nearly falling over: “Aunt Sun, do not push

too far.”

“What if I do? Do you think you, a yellow-faced wife, can compare to ?” Auntie Sun declared arrogantly, looking down at Madam Xie with contempt in her eyes.

Her patience now exhausted with the bullying, Madam Xie retorted, “Stealing Mo Xiaoqiang away from

did you no good, with your current reputation, he’s bound to divorce you sooner or later.”

“Slap!”

No sooner had Madam Xie finished speaking than she was struck across the face by a vicious slap from Aunt Sun: “I am in this state today because of your daughter, and you still have the audacity to boast about it? Do you believe I won’t beat you to death?”

Aunt Sun had used all her strength in that slap, disheveling Madam Xie’s hair.

“Aunt Sun, don’t push

too far. When Xuexue gets back, she certainly won’t let you off,” Madam Xie said sternly, wiping the trace of blood from the corner of her mouth.

Madam Xie’s words gave Aunt Sun a reminder.

She wasn’t concerned about Xuexue—that dead girl—but she was afraid of Big Bull, the Plague God, whose martial arts skills were far too formidable; he could flick her ters away with a re finger.
