The group finished their breakfast on the street corner amidst the bustling crowd, after which Big Bull picked up his load and they headed to the market together.
Big Bull asked, “Wife, should we go and sell at the market?”
Xuexue thought for a mont then shook her head, “Let’s not sell at the market, it’s too tiring. Let’s go to Xiaohe Restaurant and ask Shopkeeper Fan if he needs any.”
“Yeah, that sounds good.”
Big Bull nodded in agreent, as the weather was getting increasingly hot. Standing by the roadside for too long made him sweat profusely, the sun blazing hotter every minute, and he didn’t want his wife to suffer.
“Sister, I want to go buy pork lard cakes with Xiao Gougou,” Chuner said, looking at Xuexue with hopeful eyes.
They hadn’t sold the python at yet, so Xuexue wasn’t in the mood to go buy pork lard cakes. She crouched down, looked at Chuner, and negotiated, “Chuner, sister and Big Bull Brother have to sell the snake at at the restaurant to have the money to buy pork lard cakes.
