“What’s there to be embarrassed about? You treated

After all, if sothing really happened to Xuexue because of him, he would feel guilty.
Xuexue felt sowhat relieved inside; she had indeed not misjudged him. Shopkeeper Fan was indeed a person worth befriending.
Xuexue nodded with a smile, “I’ll rember that.”
After leaving Xiaohe Restaurant, Xuexue walked all the way to the marketplace to buy so pork and grain to take back ho. This trip ho would last a few days, and she wouldn’t co back to town until the next delivery to Shopkeeper Fan. Whatever she needed at ho, she bought now and stored in her space; it would be convenient to take out and use whenever needed.
Xuexue made her purchases. While there were no people around, she threw everything into her space.
“Master, why did you buy that stuff for ? I’m a ghost; I can’t eat,” Xiao Taohong bantered from within the space.
Initially, Xuexue didn’t understand why, when she was in the space, she could hear Xiao Taohong clearly but Big Bull couldn’t hear her. Later, she learned that she and Xiao Taohong were bound by a Blood Covenant, which allowed their minds to communicate and her to hear Xiao Taohong speaking in the space.
“Who’s it for you? Don’t flatter yourself; that’s my own stuff!”
“I know you love . You’re just too shy to say it, so you use actions to tell , right?” Xiao Taohong narcissistically said.
“I’ve seen vain people, but I’ve never seen a ghost as vain as you,” Xuexue said helplessly, her expression exasperated, especially since the ghost was so proudly boasting in the space.
Xiao Taohong kept chattering nonstop in the space. Xuexue pretended not to hear and continued walking slowly down the street, utterly unaware of the several sneaky figures following her.
After completing her shopping, she was about to head to the town gate to catch an oxcart ho. At a deserted corner, the followers saw an opportunity and quickly surrounded her from behind, and suddenly, a bag was thrown over her, pulling Xuexue inside.
Xuexue was walking along when suddenly everything went dark, and she could see nothing, startling her greatly until she was hoisted onto soone’s shoulder, and then she realized she had been kidnapped.
