Ji Yuqiao stood there stunned, staring at him for a long ti until Keke ca out of the restroom and called out to her, which finally snapped her out of it.
“Thanks, you can give my bag now,” Keke said.
Ji Yuqiao handed her the bag and looked up towards the corridor again, but Xiao Yu had disappeared.
Ji Yuqiao’s thoughts montarily wandered, and she lost the desire to stay there any longer.
Her lips slightly parted, just as she was about to tell Keke she wanted to leave early, a sharp, piercing scream rang out.
“Ah!” Keke frantically rummaged through her bag.
“What’s wrong?” Ji Yuqiao was puzzled.
“The gemstone necklace my boyfriend gave is gone!” Keke frenziedly searched, even dumping everything out of her bag onto the floor, with compact powder and lipstick scattering everywhere.
“Think again, could you have placed it sowhere else?” Ji Yuqiao suggested.
“Impossible, I was worried about dirtying the necklace, so I specifically put it in my bag when I went to the restroom. Such an expensive necklace…” Keke’s face suddenly lost all color.
After a mont, she looked up, incredulous, staring at Ji Yuqiao, “After going to the restroom, you were the only one who touched my bag, could it be you…”
