Chapter 747: Jeopardy
Fang Xinxin instructed her bodyguard and chauffeur, Tong Yu, to drive her from the hospital to the Long family’s villa. At the sa ti, she requested Bai Qinghao to arrange for more than twenty bodyguards to accompany her.
When she arrived at the Long family’s entrance, the bodyguard watching the gates refused to let her in.
“I am Fang Xinxin. I have a eting with Director Long. Open the gates!” Fang Xinxin lowered the window and said.
The bodyguard hesitated for a mont. “But…” The director’s granddaughter herself had instructed him not to allow Fang Xinxin into the Long family’s mansion.
“Didn’t your Director Long instruct you that regardless of the ti, you are not allowed to stop from entering the Long family’s villa?” For the sake of Long Jingyuan’s safety, Fang Xinxin had requested he give this instruction to all the Long family’s bodyguards.
“He did.” The bodyguard imdiately gave in. “Please go ahead.”
Fang Xinxin led an army of cars into the Long family’s front yard and stopped right before the door.
Fang Xinxin instructed the mont she alighted. “Imdiately begin looking for Director Long!”
“Yes, Madam.”
A group of bodyguards rushed into the Long family’s villa’s living room. A middle-aged man led a group of male servants to stop them. “Who are you? Who gave you the courage to enter the Long family’s ho!”
Fang Xinxin’s expression was cold as she stated. “I am Fang Xinxin. I ca to look for Director Long!”
“So it’s Miss Fang.” The middle-aged man introduced himself. “I am this mansion’s butler, Gong Hua.”
“Didn’t Director Long inform you all that I am to be treated as a VIP guest?”
“He did…” Gong Hua nodded with so hesitation.
“In that case, you will inform Director Long to et imdiately.”
“The Director is currently resting. No one is allowed to disturb him.” Guo Hua’s attitude was a little firm.
However, Fang Xinxin noticed a hint of poorly concealed anxiety in his gaze. She did not waste her breath on him. She waved her hand and her bodyguards imdiately took down the Long family’s servants. Then they charged upstairs to search for him.
All of a sudden, Fang Xinxin felt a hint of danger suffocating her. She felt sincerely worried for Long Jingyuan’s safety.
She felt that if she was even half a minute late, he would be in danger.
Thus, she brought her phone out and imdiately dialed Bai Jingrou’s number.
In a certain bedroom on the third floor of the Long family’s mansion, Long Jingyuan laid unconscious on the bed. There was an open wound on his forehead and the bed was covered in blood.
Bai Jingrou held a cup in her hands. She dissolved a tablet in it and spoke viciously. “You stupid old man. You tell , you already have one foot in the grave, what’s the point in holding so tightly onto the Long family’s inheritance? Who asked you to guard against as though I’m a thief! Once you eat this, you’ll die in your dreams. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely inherit the great Long family which has a hundred years of history.”
She pinched Long Jingyuan’s chin and was about to feed him the water in the cup.
All of a sudden, her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw that it was actually a call from Fang Xinxin!
Although she had saved that Fang woman’s phone number, the two of them had a poor relationship and rarely interacted with each other. Why would she suddenly call her?
She hesitated to answer when suddenly, she heard a flurry of footsteps heading up the stairs. It was clear that a crowd had co to charge into the Long ho.
She understood the situation and imdiately stood up to head into the washroom. She poured the water in her cup into the toilet bowl and washed it clean in the sink.
She then returned to her bed and picked up a handkerchief to press it against Long Jingyuan’s bleeding wound.
Fang Xinxin hurried up the stairs and heard a phone ring from one of the rooms. She imdiately brought her bodyguards to kick the door.
With a loud noise, the door was kicked open. Bai Jingrou stood up in fright. When she saw who it was, she imdiately raised her voice in rage. “Fang Xinxin, you actually brought so many people to trespass into soone else’s ho!”
