Chapter 631: Poisoned Food
Last night, Fang Xinxin nearly died in Bai Qinghao’s arms.
However, since they had just collected their marriage certificate, she decided to let him have his way.
“Cousin, Miss Fang, co and have breakfast.” Bai Jingrou brought three plates of steaks out from the kitchen. There was also milk and bread prepared on the table. “I prepared breakfast myself. Co and have a taste.”
She smiled kindly.
Fang Xinxin did not dare to eat Bai Jingrou’s food. She was worried that it was poisoned. Even if it was not poisoned, she wouldn’t eat anything made by her.
Bai Qinghao frowned and instructed the staff. “Take it all away!”
“Understood.” The helpers waiting by the side rushed to remove the dishes from the dining table.

A hint of humiliation appeared on her expression and she seed to want to cry. “Cousin, I understand that you have mysophobia and that you won’t have the food prepared by outsiders. But I wore a pair of gloves when I prepared breakfast and I paid special attention to hygiene.”
Bai Chongshan heard this from where he sat on the carved, red wood sofa. A hint of heartache flashed past his eyes. “Jingrou, I told you that Qinghao won’t eat your food and asked you not to be a busybody. You should have listened to .”
The helpers quickly served a new set of dishes. The kitchen had prepared minced at porridge, bird’s nest soup, sunny side-ups, French sandwiches…
Bai Qinghao was expressionless. He acted as though Bai Jingrou was invisible while he tugged Fang Xinxin towards her seat.
“Cousin, I know that you don’t like , but I truly see you as family. I waited all morning for you and I haven’t even had breakfast…” Jingrou’s tears rolled down her cheeks.
Bai Qinghao’s sharp gaze finally shifted onto her for a mont. He said ruthlessly, “No one asked you to wait. Stop looking for trouble.”
She turned pale. To him, her grievance and requests for his favour were seen as attempts to look for trouble!
However, if she truly did as he said, she wouldn’t even have the opportunity to appear before his eyes!
Fang Xinxin really loved Bai Qinghao. She liked that he had no space for any other won but herself in his heart.
Bai Jingrou watched as they fed each other breakfast. Almost sobbing, she ran out of the living room in heartbreak.
“My daughter…” Huang Zhishu who was also in the living room initially stayed silent. However, she could not help feeling worried and quickly chased after her.
Next to the Chinese-style garden, Bai Jingrou hatefully snapped the roses that were blooming beautifully.
One by one, every blooming flower was snapped off the branch. Her vicious gaze appeared to be imagining the branches as Fang Xinxin’s life.
Huang Zhishu approached in heartache. “My daughter…”
“Mom!” Bai Jingrou’s eyes reddened. “I’ve liked Bai Qinghao for more than twenty years. Why won’t he look at ? Fang Xinxin, that vixen, she stole him from !”
“Bai Qinghao is yours. No one can take him away!” Huang Zhishu narrowed her eyes. The wrinkles on the corner of her eyes also crinkled up. “You have to be patient. Urgency will only lead you to make mistakes.”
