eting a love rival always evokes jealousy, although Shen ng isn’t one to openly show her emotions, she doesn’t let go of Liang Jue’s hand. Instead, she draws him closer, even wrapping her arms around his slender waist, pulling him towards her chest.

Liang Jue, taken aback by the affection, looks up at her, not even noticing Wang Shuyue’s presence, his childhood sweetheart.

Shen ng smiles at him, “It’s cold, let’s keep each other warm.”

As the husband and wife share an intimate mont, Liang Rong, as the elder sister, feels sowhat relieved. She still hopes for her brother’s happiness, knowing that Liang Jue’s well-being is more important than anything else.

In this lifeti, Liang Jue hasn’t been hurt by the unpleasant things Shen ng did, so she doesn’t harbor deep animosity towards her. However, while Liang Rong remains composed, the other person on the scene can’t help but feel restless.

Despite preparing herself ntally, seeing the person she has liked for so many years being held by another woman is unbearable for any woman.

Despite her inner turmoil, Wang Shuyue tries to avoid showing her jealousy and resentnt to Liang Rong and Liang Jue. He stares intensely at Shen ng, her eyes burning with jealousy, wishing she could pry her hand away from Liang Jue’s waist and replace it with her own.

The angrier she got, the more content Shen ng felt. She tightened her grip around Liang Jue’s hand.

It happened that dinner was about to begin, they all had to walk from this place to the main hall where als were served to guests. Liang Jue felt uncomfortable with Shen ng holding onto his waist like that, so she opted to interlock their fingers instead. While the intimacy level wasn’t any lower, it was certainly more discreet.

As they were leaving, Shen ng glanced back at Wang Shuyue, a slight smirk playing on her lips, a hint of mockery in her eyes.

Wang Shuyue had been standing at the door, but because of Liang Jue, she remained frozen in place until the couple crossed the threshold and exited. It was then that she stiffly lifted her head and was t with Shen ng’s mocking smile.

It was clearly a provocation! Wang Shuyue was infuriated, but as the cold wind blew, reason returned to her mind. No matter how angry she was, Liang Jue was now officially married to Shen ng.

What right did she have to compare herself to her? Realizing this, she felt a pang of sadness. It was Liang Rong who pulled her back to reality, and she reluctantly followed the couple into the mansion.

She couldn’t let go of her hope, her concern for Liang Jue. This was her chance to see if Shen ng dared to mistreat Liang Jue. If she did, no matter what, Wang Shuyue vowed to win him back.
