Chapter 703: Chapter 221 Audience

“Here they co, our reinforcents, a Seventh Rank Necromancer from the Necromancy School—Black Dasta!”

Seeing the appearance of the newcor, the Flying Goldfish slowly breathed a sigh of relief.

In a cluster of pale blue ghostly fires that erged from unknown when, a black-robed spellcaster stood proudly on the back of a gigantic Bone Dragon, holding a pale bone staff in hand.

With a light stamp of his foot, the empty eye sockets of the massive Bone Dragon flared fiercely with a verdant ghostly fire. Then, it opened its boney maw to the sky, emitting a silent roar.

The intangible and formless sound of the soul instantly swept across the entire battlefield, causing all the professionals present to turn pale, their minds subjected to varying degrees of shock.

“No matter how many tis I see Lord Black Dasta, I always feel a chill throughout my body. Thank goodness he’s on our side.”

Rubbing the goosebumps on his arms, Ying Ji Changkong shivered from the cold.

At any given ti, when faced with these real high-rank professionals, one could feel an imnse pressure emanating from their aura.

This was a sense of crisis entirely different from when they had faced the Chief Minister, Yin Mo, as if a winter breeze had caressed their souls, piercing and bone-chilling.

Even without prompts from their interface, they could feel just how powerful the other party was.

They couldn’t make any moves that would antagonize the other side; otherwise, they would die.

As low-rank professionals, they had never felt this way when facing mid-rank professionals.

Seizing the mont when the attention of the City Guard Army was diverted, Ying Ji Changkong and the Flying Goldfish suddenly erupted. They briefly trapped a small team leader of the City Guard Army, whose mind was greatly disturbed, and then quickly slipped away.

Having completed their task of drawing attention, it was now ti for them to operate freely and seize benefits for themselves.

Eliminating enemies could yield military rits and loot while exploring castles or other important buildings in the city could net them rare equipnt and high-quality materials and treasures.

Aside from not being allowed to indiscriminately massacre civilians, they had no restrictions on their actions.

Pressed for ti, the two quickly made their way to a noble estate in the city they had previously set their sights on.

.….….

“It has begun, the prelude to a chaotic world—”

As the Resistance Army began to move, Anvis stood alone in the darkness at the top room of the stone tower, gazing down at the city engulfed in flas below as if enjoying the opening act of an epic stage drama.

Contrary to what the two players had imagined, Anvis had neither fled nor taken any action; he was rely observing everything that was unfolding.

As for the Thirteenth Prince, he had temporarily arranged a clone to follow him, putting on a facade of being loyal and protective. He did not seek rit, but rather, to avoid fault.

In the grand opera that was taking place tonight with the Federation as its stage, he was not an actor in the play but rather an audience mber.

anwhile, in Anvis’s hand, an eye with black and red irises quietly opened, and even a trace of peculiar contentnt and relief flashed in the depths of the eye.

Under its gaze, as unrest stirred within the city, a richly dense Power of Desire in black quickly perated the air, even casting a thick haze of black and red over the nocturnal twin moons!

This concentration had never been reached before; the dark side of humanity has never been so vividly manifested as it is in tis of war.

The mbers of the Starfire Resistance Organization in Frost Lake City weren’t just the ones infiltrated into the City Lord Mansion; there were many more ordinary mbers of the Resistance Army with weaker strength within the city.

As the operation comnced, they too rose up, besieging the mansions and estates of the nobles and wealthy rchants within the city, as well as launching surprise attacks to seize control of the city walls and create turmoil.

While the Starfire Organization’s operation guidelines indeed did not involve ddling with civilians, this did not an that the other thieves and scoundrels in the city refrained from doing so.

Taking advantage of the fierce battle between the City Guard Army and the mbers of the Starfire Organization, these individuals mixed into the civilian residential areas, looting and pillaging extensively.

As the noble estates were challenging targets and were being watched by the Starfire Organization, the ordinary civilians beca the soft targets ripe for the picking.

After all, though not much could be looted from a single household, the small gains accumulate, and without any danger. As long as one is hard-working, a substantial harvest can still be achieved.

Seeing the bounty from these robbers’ looting, even so of the originally well-behaved rcenaries began to entertain other ideas.

Despite the attempts of so professionals and players with just hearts to stop it, such incidents were too nurous to be managed.

As for the mbers of the Starfire Organization, they would only arrange personnel to manage public order after they had completely occupied the city.

On one hand, they were unable to spare more troops; on the other hand, it was because only by first letting people experience despair could they then extend a helping hand and ensure the rescued rember their kindness.

anwhile, as the Seventh Rank Necromancer Black Dasta appeared, the Thirteenth Prince and his companions also encountered a crisis.

Under the command of a Black Knight whose eye sockets blazed with a faint blue fla, an endless Skeletal Army completely surrounded the Thirteenth Prince and his entourage.

The imnse Bone Dragon descended from the sky with the Necromancer.

The combat power of the Seventh Rank was sothing that the Thirteenth Prince’s troop did not possess. Even the re engagent of the Bone Dragon alone was sufficient to single-handedly challenge the City Guard Commander among the Prince’s retinue.

“Those who surrender within a minute may be spared. All others will beco part of my White Bone Army.”

Gazing down indifferently at the Thirteenth Prince and the others, the Undead Mage on the dragon’s back spoke in a hoarse voice.

“I… Your Highness, I’m sorry, I don’t want to die!”

Soon, soone in the Prince’s troop couldn’t bear the pressure any longer, cried out in a breakdown, and ran towards the Undead Army, where two skeletons shackled him with magical manacles.

With the first to lead, many others who wanted to surrender couldn’t resist and fled towards the enemy, volunteering to be captured.

“Your Highness…”

Seeing this scene, the City Guard Commander hesitated to speak.

“…”

But the Thirteenth Prince made no move, just watching silently as many of his subordinates fled.

Then his gaze turned to Anvis, who likewise stood in quiet stillness behind and to the right of him.

“Lord Yin Mo, don’t you plan to flee?”

“I don’t think that would end well, Thirteenth Prince.”

Hearing the Prince’s question, Anvis casually answered.

Out of everyone present, he was the one with the least psychological pressure.

“…Unfortunately, ti’s up.”

Soon, a minute passed, and as he watched the number of the Prince’s troops dwindle to a small fraction of the original, Black Dasta slowly began to speak, his gaze holding the indifferent nature of the dead towards the living.

“Then, please take your leave!”

As he spoke, the many forces of the Undead Army below imdiately began to close in.

At the sa ti, Anvis, a Sixth Rank, and the City Guard Commander in the Prince’s forces could feel that they were being locked onto by a chilling sense of crisis. Any slight movent would invite an imdiate thunderous blow.

Faced with the encroaching enemy, the Thirteenth Prince suddenly revealed a peculiar calmness in his expression.

“Enough, Black Dasta!”

In an instant, a violently wild aura of Magic Power burst forth from the Prince’s body!

The City Guard Commander and Anvis’s clone both turned their heads in disbelief towards him, as if they had seen so monster.

The ‘Thirteenth Prince’s’ aura had reached the Eighth Rank, even nearly approaching the Peak of Eighth Rank!

“This feeling… is it you?!”
