Claire’s letter?
Holding the letter, Anvis was a bit puzzled.
Until he received this letter, his intelligence organization, including the Olivendi Family’s intelligence agency, had not sent back any news about Claire.
There was only one possibility, this letter was prepared by Claire before she set off, and it was to be sent to him at a specific ti.
Such letters were generally prepared as insurance by the sender, fearing unexpected events might occur to them.
A foreboding feeling arose in his heart, Anvis quickly extended his spiritual power tentacles, touching the center of the Secret Technique Sealing.
As if the correct key was inserted, the entire letter unfolded like a blossoming flower, turning into a piece of letter paper filled with writing. The seal transford into strands of lines that dispersed on their own, forming a circle of decorative patterns around the edge of the paper.
"Anvis, are you well?"
"If you have received this letter, it ans I have encountered so kind of accident on my way, and cannot return normally..."
Just reading the first two lines made Anvis slightly frown.
Although the Half-Elf girl seed not very high in strength, Anvis could never fully comprehend Claire.
The ’Curse’ that even Ninth Rank could not avoid, those ancient mories from the era of the High Elves six hundred thirty million years ago, various halos stacked upon Claire, made her enveloped by an incredibly mysterious veil, like an information black hole.
What level of ruins could possibly trouble her?
With this doubt in mind, Anvis continued reading.
"...I am currently pursuing the holy city ruins of the legendary ’Great Race’, the Origin City[Yaina]."
"This journey, I will set out from the West Coast of the Yar Continent, passing through the Dark Cape and the Radiant Temple of Napolet, heading south from the Lost Navigation Lighthouse towards the direction of the Southern Cross, deep into the Sea of Darkness.
From the depths of the Endless Sea, that place joy has never visited, by riding the Ghostly Sea Current, passing through the giant arch ford by the Basalt Pillars, finally stepping onto that forgotten land."
"Anvis, you previously asked to locate the possible relics hiding powerful ancient beings. I have recorded everything I encountered and learned during my journey in this letter."
"I am well aware, this journey is extrely perilous, even I am not sure if I can successfully make it out.
But don’t worry about , because this is the destiny I must face. Once a part of , it will eventually guide the direction I advance—"
At this point, the ssage from Claire abruptly ended, the rest is all about specific data and coordinates of various ruins.
Including the coordinates of the relic where the pale blue fragnt Anvis had focused on before, also detailedly recorded.
After reading through it all, Anvis wasn’t surprised by the news of nurous hidden ruins; instead, he paid more attention to the information revealed in the early part of Claire’s letter.
The Origin City[Yaina]!
With eyes slightly narrowed, Anvis crossed his index fingers and gently rested them against his forehead. This na was profoundly familiar to him.
During the late Ancient Golden Age, a mysterious event known as the[Great Tear]apparently occurred on the surface of Unival.
No one knows what exactly the[Great Tear]was, because all historical docunts and relics records stopped at that mont.
Even the concept of[Great Tear]was inferred by the Magic World through a complete Ancient Continent map on the celestial sphere of the ancient High Elves.
But what is certain is that it tore apart the Ancient Continent, creating the Far Eastern Archipelagos, the Elf Continent, and the Life Forbidden Zone on Unival, leading to the disappearance of High Elf civilization and the second mass extinction of species.
Long after the cataclysm tore apart, civilization once again blood from the fractured lands of the Yar Continent,
A colossal and bizarre being with cone-shaped bodies and tentacled eyeballs erged on land and, using their special strength, constructed magnificent cities.
Yaina was the na of the great race’s capital city, later revered by the Magic World as the Origin City.
However, what few know is that "Yaina" is a term from the post-Golden Age, aning ’Place Where Stars Converge’.
Therefore, this great race is also known in the present world as the Star Cluster Civilization.
But as ti passed, the traces of the Star Cluster Civilization vanished from history without any signs.
Ancient scholars speculated that they were originally an underwater civilization that briefly sought refuge on land after the cataclysm.
Yet, the terrestrial environnt gradually beca unsuitable for their existence for so reasons, leading them back to the sea.
This idea seems sowhat plausible at first, but fails to explain why the ruins of the legendary Origin City "Yaina" have remained undiscovered to this day.
Now, having received a letter from Claire, Anvis finally learned,
Yaina, perhaps, cannot be reached through conventional ans.
"The Star Cluster Civilization, after the final battle of the ancients, was the first to leave traces on the reborn Yar Continent, famous for utilizing the mysterious power of celestial bodies, and it’s said to have clashed with many powerful ancient beings."
Rembering the description of the Star Cluster Civilization from the records, Anvis suddenly thought of sothing.
"Could it be there?"
Claire’s famously disastrous exploration involved accidentally triggering the collapse of an ancient temple.
Which released an ancient being beneath it, nearly destroying half of the Saint ssia Empire until Saint ssia III managed, at great cost, to banish it.
A temple capable of containing an Old God could not be built by any ordinary civilization. And for the three major civilizations of the Golden Age, there was no need to contain; they would simply kill or use as experintal subjects.
Although its entrance is very special, as the first city of the Star Cluster Civilization, Yaina was undoubtedly located on the Yar Continent.
However, because of his historical interference, the impact caused by the arrival of Ma’elim might provoke many changes that weren’t present before.
After a mont of consideration, Anvis issued commands to his subordinates.
To thoroughly investigate the locations of the ruins ntioned in Claire’s letter and report the exploration process and assessnt results.
These subordinate forces also included the Secret Ceremony Society comprised of players.
Thus, fifteen minutes after Anvis’s orders were issued, many, including descendants from other three major families, Prince Lanno, and so Marquises, were aware of his actions.
However, most of them just glanced briefly at the information and placed it alongside other intelligence from Anvis.
Originally choosing the Mysterious System, Anvis’s exploration of such ancient relics was considered justifiable.
A few individuals who took this matter to heart simply arranged for so n to probe these sites, aiming to deduce Anvis’s ’true intentions’.
This was not entirely due to their lack of regard for Anvis, but rather because the recent prominence of the Truth Circle was too significant.
The full sequence of Truth Circle’s attack on the secret base of the Radiant Church Court had already been thoroughly investigated.
The extre destructive power exhibited by Anvis had beco a looming cloud over all major powers.
