"Under the Crown of the Frost of Winter, huh? Oh—it is indeed quite harsh, luckily the Federation has a spring-like climate all year round, he can’t co here."

Unconcerned with the girl’s ’angry glare,’ a playful glint flashed in the Leader’s eyes. Eventually, after glancing at Anvis, he seed to lose interest, turned back, and returned to his throne.

"Take her to the Grey Mist, Star, he will know how to deal with her."

"Alright, just don’t forget what I want."

Star nodded indifferently and once again teleported away with Anvis, but this ti, he didn’t knock her out.

After reappearing, the environnt next to the two had turned into a special white room.

The walls were embellished with dazzling silver inscriptions and magical circuits; a silver sluice gate was located on one side of the room, currently closed.

This seed to be a room specially arranged for external teleportation requests, usually used for so secret experintal bases with special hidden asures that couldn’t be teleported directly into.

Anvis could feel a faint spatial isolation effect emanating from the walls around her.

"You have brought here; what is your purpose? Can you tell ? Perhaps we can find a better solution."

Observing the surroundings change again and floating next to Star, Anvis’s tone beca calm, beginning to probe.

"Cald down already? You do have a good psychological quality."

At that mont, upon hearing Anvis’s inquiry, Star’s hood slightly moved, he glanced at Anvis, his tone a bit surprised.

"Grey Mist said, you might be related to the prophecy of the Crystal Bird Star, so the organization decided to bring you back for study. As for what exactly they want to do with you, I’m not sure.

Don’t be surprised, because I’m not very concerned about this matter. The reason I personally took the effort to bring you here is that the Leader agreed to my request."

"So, if you have any questions, go ask Grey Mist himself next."

Saying this, Star led Anvis towards that sluice gate. Sensing Star’s approach, the gate emitted a scanning fluctuation and automatically rose, revealing a tallic corridor behind it.

At the entrance, two Secret Silver Magic Statues stood guard. Upon seeing Star, a flicker of blue light passed through their eyes as they bowed respectfully.

Unconcerned with this, Star led Anvis without hesitation in one direction.

Along the way, they encountered several spellcasters in experintal magic robes, but just like students in an academy, they were completely unaware of Star and Anvis.

"This respected excellency, you should also know that I co from the Olivendi, one of the four great houses of Gloria, and am a direct descendant of the current Family Head.

If you could find a way to safely send back, you would gain the genuine friendship of the Olivendi Family.

No matter how much the organization has promised you, the Olivendi Family can also pay, and can even offer more."

Glancing around, Anvis began to attempt to sway the presumably female figure in the black robe.

"Hmm? I am the enemy who just captured you."

Interested in Anvis, Star looked at her as they moved forward, casually chatting.

"There are no eternal enemies, only eternal interests, respected excellency. You just told yourself, you are not interested in that prophecy, so there is no inherent conflict of stance between us."

Carefully crafting her words, Anvis tried to discern Star’s attitude from her expression, but Star’s face was completely obscured by the shadow of her hood, blurry and indistinct.

"To be honest, I truly admire your composure at a critical mont. If it were in your position back then, I probably would have been panic-stricken enough to cry."

Star’s steps slightly paused, her tone becoming serious for the first ti.

"However, since I’ve promised the Leader to bring you here, I won’t go back on my word now.

You better think of a way to deal with Grey Mist. He is very keen on that prophecy, after all, it’s his main job."

Charm or Oratory Attribute not eting the standard, negotiation failed, experience increased by three.

Although there is no ga panel now, Anvis still added the system notification in her mind.

At this mont, after the two turned a corner, the corridor in front led directly to two towering black rock gates, shrouded in faint greyish-white fog.

Star quietly led Anvis past, and just as they reached the doorway, the towering gates automatically opened.

"Welco, Lord Star—"

Behind the door was an incredibly spacious and expansive hall, the walls adorned with Runes, and the do engulfed in an endless night sky, casting the real constellations from outside.

A Prophet in a grey robe, Grey Mist, sat quietly at the edge of the long table in the center. Upon seeing the two enter, he stood up and greeted Star.

"So, the lady beside you must be Fiona Olivendi."

After greeting them, Grey Mist’s eager gaze swiftly shifted to Anvis, as if he wanted to thoroughly scrutinize her from inside out.

"Hmm... indeed, it is her. Her fate line is shrouded in dense Destiny Mist, and even I cannot easily discern her fate."

"What does that signify?"

Star inquired.

"Unless she too is a High Rank Prophet, it signifies that she is a Child of Destiny, much like the protagonists in those biographies."

Grey Mist shrugged his shoulders.

"Furthermore, lovely miss, you seem to be unworried, which is not normal."

Without giving Anvis a chance to speak, Grey Mist suddenly waved his hand at her. Consequently, several items on Anvis, including the ring and the Ancient Secret Scripture, detached and floated in mid-air.

"Let’s see, what brings you such confidence? This book, perhaps?"

He said, casually picking up the Ancient Secret Scripture and flipping through it nonchalantly.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about!"

Anvis raised her head in disdain, refusing to respond.

"Is that so?"

Grey Mist shook his head, stopped flipping through the book, emptied all the items inside Anvis’s ring, slightly perceived them, and casually picked out a Secret Pattern-engraved Green Gemstone.

Interestingly, this gemstone seed to contain a universe within, harboring an internal layer, and its surface didn’t emit any aura.

"Or is it this? Oh! Interesting design; I guess it allows you to communicate with your family, perhaps even has a tracking feature, right?"

As he spoke, Grey Mist casually cracked open the outer shell of the gemstone, extracted the real core gemstone inside, and then crushed it.

"What a pity, it’s gone now."

"The Olivendi Family will not let you off!"

Upon witnessing this scene, Anvis’s eyes widened suddenly, and her tone carried a hint of anger.

"Perhaps."

Indifferently nodding, Grey Mist packed the remaining items back into the ring, then summoned a Secret Silver Magic Statue and handed it the ring and the Ancient Secret Scripture among a few other items.

"Take these items away, put them in the Secret Vault, to prevent our respected guest from harboring any unrealistic hopes."

After the Magic Statue departed, observing the girl who seed resigned with half-closed eyes, Star hesitated for a mont but still asked a question.

"Grey Mist, will your experint endanger her life?"

Surprised by Star’s question, Grey Mist stared at her for a mont and shook his head.

"Don’t worry too much, Star. Everyone dies; it’s just a matter of sooner or later."
