Suppressing the desire to roll his eyes, Anvis gave a brief explanation for his disappearance and inquired about the recent situation at the academy.
"Nothing particularly noteworthy overall, but there is one thing, the Ninth Prince had previously asked about your recent whereabouts, with unclear specific intentions."
Thinking it over, Harvey said in a low voice.
"The Ninth Prince? I understand."
After pondering for a mont, Anvis nodded slightly.
"Now then, dear Harvey, before I went into the lab, Fiona asked about the preparations for Kathy’s party. Do you have anything to say about that?"
At the ntion of that, Harvey’s expression imdiately turned bitter.
"Oh, Anvis, it was just an accident that I didn’t want either!
It just so happened that she saw while I was distributing the invitations, and she also asked for an invitation to the Bubble Party and inquired about other fun places in the Royal Capital."
"I certainly wouldn’t dare introduce her to those special parties that are not suitable for ladies. So I told her about so gatherings frequently attended by the Royal Capital’s noble ladies, such as ’Fate Astrology’ and ’Touching the Mysterious’.
But she found those boring and wanted to see the invitations I was previously holding, to look for other interesting parties."
"As you know, Anvis, ever since she turned into a frog when we were children, I’ve been sowhat afraid of her, so I had no choice but to show her the invitations.
And after she looked through all the invitations, for so reason, she was very interested in Kathy’s party and kept asking what kind of party it was. However, I ultimately didn’t tell her, nor did I give her an invitation."
Cautiously observing Anvis’s expression, Harvey concluded his tale.
He was well aware of how much Anvis cared about Fiona.
For the sake of his sister, he has even gone so far as to clash with the Ninth Prince Lanno in public on many occasions. If Fiona developed so strange hobbies because of his mishap, he was certainly in for it.
"...Alright then, dear Harvey, I’ll let this one slide, but please make sure the sa thing doesn’t happen again."
Anvis nodded noncommittally to this explanation, choosing not to pursue it further. At the sa ti, he raised his hand, and a faint ripple of magic power swept over Harvey’s body.
"Hey, dear Anvis... what did you just do to ?"
Harvey, sowhat surprised, checked himself over but ultimately found nothing.
"Nothing much, just helped you get rid of so magical effects.
Don’t worry, for the next fifteen days, your lovely and graceful little bird will ’not’ turn into a burly, hairy winged man in all your perceptions, and your other female company will ’not’ turn into muscular n."
With a kind smile, Anvis reassured Harvey, emphasizing the word ’not’.
"Hey! Lord Anvis!!"
Harvey called out.
"Besides, although I don’t wish to interfere with your lifestyle, you should also consider improving your own strength. Despite having started school a year earlier than I, your power is still below Third Rank.
So unusual incidents may occur on my end lately, don’t worry about it, and don’t try to contact . If there’s anything, I’ll reach out to you."
However, Anvis did not dwell on Harvey’s reaction, but rather gave his instructions autonomously.
"Lastly, let give you a piece of advice: be wary of Lewis, and be cautious of the Eleanor family."
Leaving a puzzled Harvey behind, Anvis went to enjoy a grand breakfast at the Tower Restaurant before departing for the residence of the Ninth Prince.
Before he left, he had already checked the Magic mailbox, which contained no letter from Prince Lanno. This indicated that the reason for Prince Lanno’s seeking him was probably sothing that could not be stated in a letter.
Prince Lanno was preparing to go out. Upon seeing Anvis’ arrival, they exchanged a glance, after which Prince Lanno simply nodded to Anvis with a cool expression and then boarded a Floating Disc and left on his own.
According to the agreent they had made previously, Anvis had publicly hindered the Prince many tis, so it was impossible for Lanno to show a pleasant face to Anvis in public.
Anvis didn’t mind this. Following the private communication thod they had already agreed upon, he went to a black oak tree outside Fiona’s residence and sure enough, found a one-ti Voice Recording Crystal Ball.
Back in his own residence, Anvis activated it, and a brief ssage from Prince Lanno was transmitted instantly.
"The Royal Family’s Prophet has recently made so new discoveries, which seem to still involve your sister. But, on the eighteenth of Radiant Moon, a ssage ca from the Royal Family, indicating they no longer need my attempts to get close to her. (May)
It’s a bit unusual; you’d better prepare in advance."
After the ssage ended, the Crystal Ball dimd on its own, and the magic power clinging to it dissipated.
The Royal Family...
Anvis was sowhat lost in thought. Could the source of the current crisis be actions taken by the Empire Family?
Indeed, this would well explain why he had a second crisis premonition.
Other foreign powers wanting to infiltrate the Empire to capture soone would first need to figure out a way to avoid the eyes of the Royal Family and the Four Great Families.
But if it is the Empire Family that wants to target him and Fiona, then there would be no such worry.
Although it was a possibility, the conjecture was too significant for Anvis to recklessly make conclusions.
Regardless, what he needed to do now was to assu his own disappearance and arrange everything that might go wrong as best as he could.
He had left ssages for the offshore island, so even if he disappeared, the original research projects would continue as usual.
For the research on Perfect Blood, Anvis remotely sent a Space Ring to Ogman, containing various High Rank Bloodlines including the two Legendary Bloodlines in his own body, and enough resources for decades of study.
He also conveyed his current special circumstances to Ogman through the communication function of the Twisted Seed.
Afterward, he prepared so Magic Shadow Crystal Balls and began recording so scenes involving himself in advance. They were to serve as contingency asures in case he really did et with an unexpected disappearance.
.........
Night.
Having temporarily settled everything, Anvis lay on the sofa by the window in the living room, quietly staring at the ceiling above, with his thoughts completely at ease.
A veil of silvery-white moonlight shrouded him, casting a hazy soft light on his face, resembling the profile of a beautiful youth from a legendary masterpiece.
Regardless of the outco that followed, he had done everything he could.
Anvis placed the recorded Crystal Balls and so other items into a separate ring, planning to hand it over to the Duke through the Family Chamber of Comrce before the mid-year festival.
"Ding-ding—"
At that mont, the doorbell suddenly rang.
