Anvis’s living room was unexpectedly simple in its furnishings, scattered with various relics, mostly jars and stone tablets engraved with special ancient text.
A faint, wonderful scent of flowers diffused through the air as sunlight slanted through a pot of lush Wind Bell Grass at the window, casting light on the many relics imbued with historical texture, evoking a serene atmosphere.
"Of course there’s no problem, please follow ."
After hearing the young girl’s request, Anvis nodded, stood up, and led Claire towards the basent laboratory.
On the way, Claire noticed several projections in the laboratory that looked indistinguishable from real people, which sowhat surprised her.
"Those are what I’m currently researching, an effect of a space-ti system secret technique called ’Parallel Projection’ that’s recorded in the Pomiya database."
Noticing the girl’s confusion, Anvis explained considerately.
As he spoke, he walked to the Array beside the core area of the laboratory, inputting a complicated set of commands on the surface of a pyramid-shaped tal structure floating above the Array.
Upon receiving the commands, the dark pyramid’s surface flickered with a faint light, its top structure gradually opened, and the Dark Gold Scepter embedded with the Tower Spirit core crystal floated out from within.
"Claire, may I ask, how long do you need to borrow it for?"
Temporarily replacing it with Silver, Anvis handed the Tower Spirit Pomiya to Claire and glanced at the girl’s pointed ears, casually inquiring.
"I need to investigate Pomiya’s historical records; I can’t say exactly how long it will take, but it shouldn’t be too long."
After pondering, Claire finally gave an unsure response.
"So, Anvis, could I possibly borrow a room temporarily? I will leave after finishing the investigation."
"Here at my place? No problem, what kind of room do you need, would a bedroom be okay?"
Unexpected by Claire’s request, Anvis nodded and tentatively asked another question.
"A bedroom... would be alright, but a safer room would be preferable, like sowhere with alloy walls for example."
The Half-Elf girl thought for a mont and answered very seriously.
Hence, Anvis offered her the room he previously used for breakthrough experints, and he imdiately halted all potentially dangerous magical experints to prevent his ho from accidental damage.
This investigation took roughly half a day. By evening, the door opened again, and Claire, holding the scepter and appearing slightly weary, walked out from inside.
"How did it go, Claire?"
Noticing her ergence, Anvis turned off the laboratory’s protection and ca over again.
"It’s done, I’ve found the clues I needed.
Also, I’ve added your imprint in the lower permissions of Pomiya, now you can control all of Pomiya’s capabilities on your own, without needing my blood..."
Passing the scepter back to Anvis, Claire took a deep breath, and handed him a small Crystal Ball.
"I understand, you must be curious about all of my actions.
This Crystal Ball holds a fragnt of my mory; you’ll understand everything once you see it."
"Claire..."
Anvis wanted to say sothing, but the girl simply raised her hand gently, stopping Anvis from continuing.
"It’s okay, Anvis, I understand, sharing one’s mories with soone else is a risky act. But just as you trust , I trust you as well."
With her clear blue eyes gazing into Anvis’s, Claire smiled gently, suddenly stepped forward, lightly grabbed Anvis’s hand, and placed the Crystal Ball in his palm.
"That’s it, Anvis, I’m leaving now. I’ve found what I needed; staying at Pamir Academy no longer holds any aning."
"Next, I will probably take another long-term mission from the academy’s task hall."
Watching Anvis’s slightly surprised face, Claire narrated her upcoming plans with a calm tone.
However, she clearly understood that her feelings inside were actually far from calm.
Indeed, I really wish to travel with you.
"So, Anvis, goodbye—"
Having one final look at Anvis, the blonde Half-Elf girl waved her hand, then turned and left without any reluctance.
Watching Claire’s silhouette boarding the Floating Disc and disappearing among the many Spell towers shrouded in the golden sunset, Anvis activated the Crystal Ball with his spiritual power.
Thus, a stream of mory ssages flowed out.
A slender girl resembling a High Elf stood in the control center, while another High Elf female, holding a Dark Gold Scepter and wearing a Star Crown, guided her to drop blood on the stone tablet.
As the girl did so, the High Elf held her hand, letting her feel the control panel of the Floating City.
’With this, you can also control this city during crucial monts, ***.’
’Why do this?’
The girl, expressionless, asked as she looked at the High Elf.
’Just curious.’

Over the years, residents of the federation have accepted and beco accustod to the presence of chanical devices.
At this mont, in the basent of an ordinary-looking manor in the city outskirts, projections of nurous mbers of ’Door within the Eyes’ gathered together.
However, everyone was sowhat silent at this mont.
The series of changes brought by the teorite Ruins event also caught them sowhat off guard.
At the head of the long table, the leader glanced at the vacant right-hand third seat, feeling sowhat troubled.
When Sky City exploded, the unfortunate Dark Abyss was also there coincidentally, thus being swept away and now has entered a state of slumber.
