In the real world, the sudden appearance of countless students has left the two Ninth Rank individuals sowhat puzzled.

The recent dream transmission was clearly intentional.

aning, that mysterious figure suspected of controlling the city is very likely affiliated with the Gloria Empire or at least bears goodwill towards the Empire.

At this mont, several leading Mages from the Pamir Academy looked ecstatically at the two Ninth Rank individuals who had suddenly appeared in the plaza.

Although they were High Rank Spellcasters, within these ancient ruins that posed a great threat to those of Ninth Rank, their situation was, in fact, not much safer than that of the students.

Moreover, they dared not let their nervousness show, having to maintain a confident deanor to prevent widespread panic among the students.

Now that their own Ninth Rank had finally arrived, the individuals breathed a sigh of relief. One of the leading Mages stood out from the crowd and spontaneously started to report the current situation of the students to the two individuals.

"Your Graces of Duke Carrot, currently, the vast majority of Pamir students are gathered in this underground plaza. There are a total of 4,106 students, roughly accounting for about 94 percent of the total number that entered the ruins.

Out of the 262 students not yet back with their groups, 117 have been confird dead, with the remaining 145 students missing. The Ninth Prince and the descendants of several adults have all been accounted for..."

Setting aside the issue of the mysterious figure for now, upon hearing the leading Mage’s report, the two Dukes nodded, their hearts inevitably heavy.

In previous years at the Pamir Competition, the number of deaths seldom exceeded double digits, yet this year so many were lost. One can imagine the Emperor’s rage upon learning this news.

"That’s enough. The situation is critical; any Pamir students who have not yet arrived shall be considered dead!"

Gazing over the crowd at Fiona and Anvis, both Ninth Rank individuals relaxed slightly. Duke Carrot scanned the surroundings, their magically amplified voice spreading across the entire underground plaza.

"Attention everyone, do not resist; we will take you to safety."

Following their words, the two Ninth Rank spread their domains to encompass all the students.

Under the effect of the magic, the bodies of those from Pamir Academy in the cave gradually shrank, and then the two began to admit them into special Space Rings designed to hold living creatures.

However, before entering the rings, a decoy Anvis, left behind to mislead others, delivered a final ssage to Duke Carrot.

"Father, a great danger is about to erge here, please leave as quickly as possible!"

Of course, though the communication was ant to be secret, Anvis’ transmission of the spiritual power ssage was wholly visible to the Ninth Rank of the Alfred Family.

"This place is dangerous, and he hopes that I can leave quickly."

After securing everyone, Duke Carrot briefly explained the content of the ssage from Anvis.

"It’s for the best, we should send them... her back first. It’s the safest option. Otherwise, if a fight breaks out, it will be difficult to ensure their safety."

After a brief discussion, the two ultimately decided to give up on the search and instead focus on evacuating the people from Pamir Academy first.

However, ensuring the safe departure of everyone from the Floating City was not a simple task.

The academy’s individuals awaited rescue by the Ninth Rank powerhouses, believing that once help arrived, all would be well.

But what they didn’t know was that the two Ninth Rank themselves were far less confident than they were.

From their perspective, they saw the situation far more clearly and were also acutely aware of what they would face upon leaving now.

In order to prevent anyone from touching the Eternal Core or the spirit of the Core Tower first and then escaping using Teleportation Magic, a high-level spatial blockade has been imposed around the Floating City spanning dozens of miles.

Moreover, each Professional from all powers observing the situation from the outside world probably has a reserved ace in the hole with the capability to break limits.

While their number may not be large, they will certainly exist, and they are to counter those who prepare to leave as Ninth Rank.

No matter which faction’s Ninth Rank leaves the Floating City first, they will face the thunderous assault from the other two major powers.

Duke Alfred is a seasoned Ninth Rank, while Duke Carrot is relatively young among Ninth Rank and can only barely touch the edge of the seasoned Ninth Rank.

Whether they can successfully lead the students to leave, they themselves are not quite sure.

Exchanging a glance, the two quickly departed in the direction from which they ca.

On the other hand, in the control room of the real-world dinsion, Anvis watched as the two Dukes departed, while simultaneously twisting the spatial corridors inside the Floating City to make a team of the Church Court’s Ninth Rank exploring in this direction, diverge from the path of the Dukes and others.

One interesting thing is that in the real-world dinsion, Anvis could control the Floating City on the Dream Layer, yet he could not observe that gigantic unknown creature. Only by entering the Dream Layer could he see it, for unknown reasons.

At this mont, over seven minutes had passed, and so Ninth Rank were already very close to the Core Energy Room and Central Control Room in the Dream Layer.

At the Core Energy Room, Anvis was uncertain what the Ninth Rank might encounter. However, the Central Control Room is one of the central nodes connecting the Floating City to the Dream Space.

If they were to arrive there, they could easily leave the Dream World and truly enter the Floating City’s region in the real-world dinsion.

Ti was of the essence, and after confirming that the two Dukes would no longer encounter the hostile powers’ Ninth Rank, Anvis once again lightly lifted his Scepter and teleported to the outside of the Core Energy Room.

Considering the need to delay ti and humanitarian spirit, in the Dream World layer, Anvis also tried his best to manipulate the movent of the spaceti corridors, trying to lead as many Ninth Rank towards the direction of the Central Control Room as possible.

After all, if there were too few people, they might be instantly killed by the true form of that blood-red giant eye. Not wanting to see them die too swiftly, Anvis kindly helped them gather more strength so they wouldn’t be powerless to fight back.

In the real world, there seed to be no abnormalities in the Core Energy Room.

Cautiously perceiving, and after confirming there was no danger, he used his authority to control the several ters thick Demon-Repelling tal gate to rise.

Creak creak creak—

From the slowly opening tiny gap, pure white light instantly shone through.

Behind that gate, an incredibly pure and translucent radiant white core was reflected in Anvis’s azure eyes.

The core was in a perfect octahedral shape, about three ters tall, steadily floating in the center of the entire vast Core Energy Room.

Nurous Constant Gold Magic Circuits as wide as several tens of centiters, densely covered the walls of the entire Energy Room, collecting the astounding Magic Power flowing out of the core, continuously supplying it to different parts of the city, maintaining the operation of the Floating City.

"How splendid..."

Gazing at the resplendent core before him, Anvis couldn’t help but be slightly entranced by its beauty.

This was the crystallization of the High Elves’ supre magical prowess, the miracle core that made the entire city break away from the earth and touch Heaven—The Eternal Core.

However, at the very mont Anvis was about to take the Eternal Core, his motions suddenly halted.
