However, the exploration of the relics in this lifeti is likely to be much more complex than in the past life.

In the past life, only Rein, the Child of Destiny, ventured in here while being pursued.

In this lifeti, a large group has gathered here directly, even under the guidance of the academy’s grand competition rules, to carry out a thorough three-foot ground exploration of the entire site.

It would be outrageous if no surprises occurred!

Of course, Anvis is well aware that this situation likely stems from his own actions.

A series of chain reactions triggered by his actions eventually led to the Stargazers and other Eighth Rank Peak Prophets intervening and manipulating the course of fate on short notice.

But even knowing that he would eventually confront these high-ranked prophets, it was not possible for him to sit idly by; it’s just a matter of differing stances.

Shaking his head secretly, Anvis held onto the Magic Talisman in front of his avatar’s chest, quietly recited a line of ancient Gurmani Spell, and pointed in a triangle on his chest with his right hand three tis.

"Anvis, what are you doing?"

Noticing Anvis’s actions, Claire, using the light from the Magic Lantern, checked the surroundings of the corridor and, ensuring there were no dangers, asked curiously.

Although Anvis claid to be an ’avatar’, after careful sensing, Claire noticed nothing amiss about Anvis.

"It’s a simple but very ancient mystical ritual, intended to pray for better luck in what is to co."

Anvis smiled and explained to the puzzled girl.

"Really? I’m hearing about this ritual for the first ti, how effective is it?"

Upon hearing this, Claire looked at Anvis with a hint of surprise in her eyes.

A mystical ritual unknown even to her must surely be a precious secret knowledge of magic, kept by the Four Great Families, and its effect must be very powerful!

"Well... it works if you believe! As long as you believe it is useful, it will be sowhat effective."

Anvis smiled awkwardly under the gaze of the girl’s blue eyes.

"It’s not the kind of secret knowledge you’re thinking of. If you want, I can teach you."

In fact, this is a mysterious ritual that once circulated among the player community.

Although its origin is unknown, it suddenly beca popular one day.

As for its effect...

Let’s put it this way, the effect of performing this ritual in this world is no different from doing it on Blue Star.

"Hold the pendant on your chest, recite ’May Eternal Radiance return’ in Gurmani, and then tap three tis in a triangle on your chest.

If you wish, after reciting the spell, you can also think of sothing you hope will happen in your heart and tap three tis again."

Anvis briefly explained the whole ritual process to the girl and added one last comnt.

"Like this?"

Claire nodded seriously and repeated the process as Anvis had just demonstrated.

In such a relic obviously laden with danger, even if this unexplained mystical school ritual only slightly boosts their luck, it’s still better than doing nothing.

At this mont, the corridor in front of them suddenly changed.

Under the warm yellow glow of the lantern, the corridors on both sides began to widen, and silver-white lines gradually appeared on the originally plain grey-white rock walls.

If you look closely, those lines seem to be a series of very simple murals.

"Is this the effect of the ritual? Indeed, not bad."

While speaking, Claire carefully moved the lantern closer to the wall, trying to decipher the content of the mural.

Most of the ti, the murals in the ruins are very valuable information, as they often record the purpose, specific structure, original owner’s identity, history, culture, and so on of the ruins.

Similar to the carvings on the surface parts, the murals here, although simple in lines, still carry the uniquely elegant and splendid style of the High Elves.

As the two continued forward, more murals appeared before their eyes.

The first mural depicted nurous High Elf Mages in magic robes, wielding long-handled magic wands, battling against so bizarre creatures.

These creatures had appearances completely different from ordinary surface creatures, and varied in types.

They usually had huge, mass-like bodies, wrinkled skin, multiple tentacles of varying lengths that opened like flowers at the tips, and so strange star-shaped and dot-shaped protruding structures.

Such bizarre postures didn’t seem to be ant for living on land; rather, they resembled the structures of deep-sea creatures.

The second mural depicted a magnificent Floating City floating in the clouds, with thick pillars of magic power erupting from the bottom of its shield, striking a similarly huge bizarre creature.

The third mural pulled the perspective further away, showing a large array of Floating Cities battling against bizarre creatures that almost obscured the entire sky.

The fourth mural zood back in on individuals, featuring a female High Elf Mage holding a large, unidentified eye and walking into a laboratory with another mage.

By the fifth mural, the situation had weirdly turned completely dark—

And the sixth mural that followed depicted lines suddenly turning into ominous dark red, only showing a High Elf Mage with a bizarre expression.

When the dim light of the lantern shone upon the sixth mural, the mage’s crimson eyes suddenly turned! Staring intently at the two with heavy malice!

"Scary!"

This sudden change startled them, and Anvis instinctively raised his hand to cast a High Rank Expel Evil Spirits, while Claire instantly cast a Protect Evil.

But the next mont, the feedback from the spell indicated no target was found.

When they looked carefully again, the mural had returned to its original state.

"Illusion Magic?"

Anvis grew more alert, reactivated a ring, and cast a High Rank Disperse Phantom, but it was equally ineffective.

"No, I’m afraid so terrible thing has already set its sights on us."

Claire’s expression turned grave as she shook her head, seemingly experienced with such situations.

"These murals, they should depict the history that this city once experienced.

Following a terrible war in the Ancient Era, this city, for so reason, beca separated from the group and eventually fell here."

As they continued their exploration, new murals appeared in front of them.

It was a round door that had been opened, the style of which the two were very familiar with, several Mages were adding Seals to it while using magic to block the darkness within the door that seed to be alive.

At this point in the murals, their pace finally ca to a stop.

Not far ahead in the corridor in front of them, traces of space distortion, occasionally visible, appeared in the air.

Even just standing at a distance and observing, their spiritual power would send back a feeling of extre danger.

"A ti-space ripple isolation layer."

After careful observation, Anvis accurately nad the barrier ahead.

It’s a highly mystical protective layer, generally used to isolate so extrely dangerous things to prevent accidental leaks.
