On the other hand, Anvis was equally aware of Matt’s agreent to join an underground organization.

Because of the presence of the Twisted Seed, every event that occurred to Matt could be fully perceived by Anvis, should he choose to.

However, Anvis usually would not bother to watch everything, reading a plethora of chaotic and useless mory information from others, as it would only serve to additionally drain his energy.

He set a trigger condition for all the Twisted Seeds: when events deed important by the bearer, or unusual occurrences, happen, they would call to him in the Dream Realm and report to him.

And as for Matt, important events, naturally, would relate to matters concerning Anvis.

So had covertly scouted him and even tried to solicit him, seeking to obtain more information about the person behind him through him.

The appearance and identity of these people, as well as the price they offered Matt, were all clearly reported to Anvis in dreams.

Certain covert Resistance Army organizations, descendants of minor nobility, and even mbers of the Enock family from the Four Great Families, were observed by Anvis.

A portion of those seeking him out did so due to his origins, wanting to attract him to join the Resistance Army camp.

Anvis had arranged for Matt an identity as the descendant of the fallen Viscount Tiphon.

His father, the current Viscount Tiphon, was a standard unlucky fellow. By the ti of his generation, the family estate was nearly squandered, maintaining day-to-day operations with difficulty solely through their remaining two farms and vineyards.

During an outing, the Viscount encountered an Earth Bear that had been displaced from its territory by a powerful Magic Beast, forcing the bear to search for food outside its original territory.

Having no money to hire guards, the poor Viscount Tiphon unfortunately perished at the jaws of the Magic Beast.

Not long after the Viscount’s death, his mother, overwheld by sorrow, soon passed away to join the gods alongside her husband, and the family’s last few old servants also left, leaving Matt as an orphan.

Fortunately, with his ’talent,’ he caught the eye of an academy scout and was thus able to enter the Pamir Academy to beco a budding Shape Power apprentice.

Another part sought to investigate Anvis’s purpose.

Perhaps Matt himself was unaware of the exact identity of the ’ssenger of the God of Revenge’ who had arranged his series of identities. But to so, this was no secret.

They did not know what Anvis was planning specifically, but they could lay out their strategies in advance, attempting to sway Matt to their side.

That way, whatever Anvis intended to do with Matt in the future, they would be inford and able to take advantage of it.

Upon hearing Matt’s report, Anvis instructed him to accept the solicitations from so parties, including those from the Enock family, and to strive to gain their trust, with any obtained resources at his disposal.

Similarly, Matt’s association with Roche was also directed by Anvis in the Dream Realm.

Anvis did not plan to plant the Seed of Destiny in Roche, as Roche’s destiny lines were too complicated. If he tried to implant the Twisted Seed, it could easily entangle deeply with Roche’s destiny lines.

Such entanglent would undoubtedly result in him being identified as the villain obstructing the Child of Destiny, provoking unconscious resistance from destiny’s guarding forces.

For Anvis, it might be possible to counteract with a large amount of destiny feedback, but that would be a loss not worth the cost. His focus on Roche was to harvest that destiny feedback.

With a plan already in place, targeting specific interactions, under his guidance, Matt and Roche quickly beca friends.

In the blink of an eye, another half-month passed.

The after-effects of a large influx of Foreign Professionals into the Empire were, by now, gradually beginning to erupt as ti moved on.

Conflicts between High Rank Professionals broke out everywhere, and in the cities, these individuals would sowhat respect the Empire’s guardians, but outside the cities, they were uninhibited, engaging in battles that caused mountains to crumble and the earth to fracture.

These High Rank Professionals, who normally lord over their own territories, acting fearlessly and unchecked.

Although they toned down their behavior after coming to the Empire, it was inevitable that their suprely arrogant nature started to show when they stayed a bit longer.

Not to ntion, many Professionals originally ca from conflicting or even hostile camps, so with personal vendettas.

When they unexpectedly ran into each other, the enmity was intense; grudges were held, and revenges sought.

But the battles between High Rank Professionals who harnessed natural forces were incomparable in destructiveness to those of Mid and Low Rank Professionals.

Let alone the landscapes destroyed by the wide-reaching attacks, even after the battles ended, the environnt would be filled with chaotic elental eddies, making rediation quite troubleso.

Initially, the residual impacts of battles involving Destructive Power severely damaged the Empire’s environnt.

A few days later, the Royal Family issued an ergency law.

The Gloria Empire entered Level Three alert status: any Foreign Professionals fighting within the Empire whose fights exceeded a certain intensity would be treated as foreign invaders.

The Empire’s Ninth Rank Professionals would personally intervene to eradicate the fighting parties.

Simultaneously, due to the high risk of the teorite Ruins, the Empire Magic Research Institute dispatched a specialized research team.

The Deputy Director of the Institute, Sai the Star Chaser, a Peak Ninth Rank [Secret Star Scholar], collaborated with other High Rank researchers from various families, preparing to attempt to crack the ruins’ defense system.

Following the proclamation and enforcent of this law, Ninth Rank Professionals from the Royal Family and the noble families of Dukes and Marquises deployed, taking stations throughout the Empire.

Only then did the Empire’s internal chaos begin to subside.

Because of the recent turmoil, many rcenaries and adventurers wandering in the wilds t untily deaths after being caught up in the aftermath of large-scale battles.

However, players gave extrely high ratings to this new version of the ’expansion pack.’

If one disregards the dangers, the spectacle of battles between High Rank Professionals far surpasses any fireworks show in grandeur.

It was a deadly beauty, a dark storm with the eye of a hurricane obscuring the sky, countless pale blue ice crystals swirling in the brilliance of lightning, shining like diamond stars.

The magic-conjured teor Fire Rain burned fiercely, and the falling destructive teors ignited the clouds, dyeing the entire battlefield a doomsday-like dark red.

Gigantic Moonlight Slashes that twisted space were blocked by massive stone hands condensed from mountains. Skeletal Giant Dragons soared across the sky, spitting out rays flecked with a ghastly green that bespoke death.

Apart from a few unlucky players caught in the crossfire cursing the ga’s officials on forums, offering their not-so-kind regards to the officials’ families, they continued to invest in the ga.

Most players considered the new version’s background and storyline to be magnificently epic, evoking a sense of witnessing history.

As a consequence, many players who used to play in the other two Empires also began flocking to the Gloria Empire. They hoped to try their luck at triggering so earth-shattering story missions.

In such an environnt, the Olivendi Family naturally couldn’t avoid involvent.

However, fortunately, Karlars Province was located on the northwestern side of the Empire, directly opposite Magna Province to the southeast where the teor fell, and so it sustained relatively less impact.

anwhile, Duke Carrot and another Ninth Rank relative publicly appeared in their territory, forcefully suppressed two Professionals who had crossed their path, and deterred petty criminals in the vicinity.

However, while the outside world was already in chaos, such tumult did not reach Pamir Academy, which was located within the Mystery Lock.

As the gathering place for the Empire’s top talent, it possessed the Empire’s most cutting-edge defense forces. Even if soone with malignant intentions had sought to attack, they would have been eliminated imdiately.

In the midst of the external chaos, Anvis’s attention was now drawn by another matter.

The evolution of the Ancient Secret Scripture had finally co to an end!
