"I already talked with Rhodes and I don't want to disturb Pepper right now that's why I am asking you after all the problems you and your SHIELD has caused don't you think this is the least you can do for Ms. Maria Hill" Kenichi said
Maria's eyes widened in surprise then she looked at Pepper to see if she heard Kenichi and seeing that he didn't react she turned back and said "How? When?"
"It doesn't matter now does it. I asked Coulson to arrange for this but he didn't and was dragging his feet so I had to use my contacts to get all these things and do the operation like this. I thought you guys would try to help save Stark with him being Howard's son but no you had sothing co else in mind. I don't care what is it, Stark's surgery is already underway and if it's stopped now then he is as good as dead. So call you director and make sure no one disturbs the surgery " Kenichi said and turned back walking towards Pepper and sitting beside her.
Maria stood rooted at her spot for a minute then took out the phone and called the director and inford him about the current developnt.
Pepper also called Happy Hogan to inform him about the situation and asked him to bring so guards to protect the building so that no one could interfere with the surgery.
Rhodes also ca in still wearing the armour with the face mask open, he asked "How is everything?"
"The surgery will take 12 hours or more. Removing the tal will be easy for them, it's the toxin that will take more ti. More So because Stark is an Ordinary man and not a Martial artist like us." Kenichi explained.
"I will go back and stop anyone to find here and disturb the surgery then " Rhodes said as the face mask closed on and he turned back to go back.

12 hours later, Kenichi's Masters ca out of the operation theatre seeing which Kenichi woke Pepper up from her sleep.
Kenichi knew that Pepper had only slept for 4 hours in the last 24 hours but he knew that Pepper was worried about Tony a lot. Rhodes also returned after making sure that nothing was going to happen.
Happy had sent the man to guard the building while he was inside looking over Pepper.
So when Akisa and Kensei ca out of the operation theatre. The three of them were right infront of the two and started asking questions.
"How is he?" "How is Tony?" "Is boss alright?" "Will he be okay?" "Is there any problem?" "What the surgery successful?"
"Stop" Kenichi shouted stopping the trios question. "Atleast let them answer you questions."
"The surgery was successful, we took out the tals that doctor Yinsen couldn't" Akisa said
"Tony also won't die from Palladium Poisoning anymore" Kensei added.
"But there is a hole in his chest where he used to put arc reactor which will take a lot of ti to heal, make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid for it." Akisa said to them.
"There won't be any problems because of it?" asked Pepper
"Normally yes, but Strak has lived with a hole in his chest for a year now, so he would be okay" Akisa said
"He will wake up in half an hour, then you can talk to him." Kensei stated
"Thank you so much" Pepper said in between her tears.
"We are Doctor Ms. Potts it's our job to save a patient " Akisa said with a small smile.
"Let's go I am sure you two must be hungry after such a long surgery " Kenichi said to which Akisa and Kensei nodded their heads and followed Kenichi.
They already had food on the ground floor that Kenichi ordered for them.
While the three of them left the floor Pepper sighed in relief thanking that Tony is going to be ok. Maria who was standing beside them heard the news and decided to inform Fury about it.
Half an hour later When Tony woke up he saw Peppers face hovering over his.
"Tony you are awake" Pepper said with a smile.
"Pepper! What happened?" asked Tony
"Your surgery was successful Tony" Rhodey said as he stood on the other side of the bed.
"How can you hide it from Tony? Why didn't you tell you were dying?" Pepper asked getting angry at the fact the Tony was hiding about his health
"Not now Pepper, let him rest you can grill him later" Rhodey said with a smile.
"Yeah, I am sure Tony would be happy to answer your questions later" Happy added
Tony looked at them then looked at his chest that was covered in bandages.
"So they took it out huh!" Tony said
"Yeah, and they said that the hole in your chest will heal slowly but you can't strain it so you have to stop being Iron Man for a while" Rhodey stated
Tony didn't say anything and just remained silent. By this ti Akisa and Kensei also ca back after having their lunch.
"Ah good you are awake" Akisa said then moved towards Tony with Kensei following behind him And they started to do a regular check up.
"Everything looks good," Akisa said
"Can I go ho " asked Tony
"Tony! You just had a major surgery what are you talking about." Pepper said in a slightly raised voice.
"No, he is right this is not a hospital so he should either get admitted to one or get treated at ho whatever he feels comfortable with. Though you will need to stay for tonight at least " Kensei said
The offers understood what they were talking about and nodded there head.
"Ms. Potts tye board of directors wants to talk to you." Maria said while holding a phone.
"I will be back in a minute" said Pepper and took the phone from Maria while walking outside.
"I also need to go, Major Allen has been calling constantly." Rhodey said then looked at Tony, "I am sorry Tony" he said then walked out of the room.
Tony was a little confused by thta behaviour of Rhodey but he didn't question it.
"You can rest now Mr. Stark. After the dicines wore off you won't be able to sleep easily" Akisa suggested to which Tony complied.

The next day Tony was back in his ho with all the dical gizmos needed to keep a check on him.
Since Pepper didn't go to office yesterday she couldn't stay by Tony's side, they hired a nurse too keep a check on him and went back to their jobs after making sure everything is okay with him.
In his room Tony was contemplating what to do, as he now knew that he was going to live.
"Well it looks like you are in quite a situation Stark"
