"We are coming to you live from the kickoff at the Stark Expo, where Tony Stark has just walked offstage. Don't worry if you can't make it down here tonight because this Expo goes on all year long. And I'm gonna be here checking out all the attractions and the pavilions and inventions from all around the world." Reporter said
Tony checks the Toxicity in his body to find that it has reached at 30%. Since he hasn't been able to find any solution for it on his own he had already contacted Kenichi and his master's. Stark can't go to them in Japan as he has a lot of things to do so he gave them a blank check to co and take a look at him and see if he can be cured.
They would be coming in a few days hence Tony decided to complete a few things urgently and starting the Stark Expo was one of them.
After going through a lot of people Happy and Tony reach there only to find soone waiting for them there.
"Look what we got here, the new model." said Happy
"Hey, does she co with the car?" Tony said while motioning towards the woman standing beside the car
"I certainly hope so. Hi." Happy said to the won
"Hi. And you are?" Tony asked the won
"Marshal." the Won replied
" Irish. I like it." Tony said
" Pleased to et you Tony." Marshal stated
" I'm on the wheel. Do you mind? Where you from?" asked Tony
"Bedford." Marshal said
"What are you doing here?" asked Tony
"Looking for you." Marshal said
"Yeah? You found . What are you up to later?" asked Tony
"Serving subpoenas." Marshal said as she Hands him a letter. But Tony doesn't take it
"Yikes." Tony said
"He doesn't like to be handed things." said Happy Hogan as he reaches over and takes the letter.
" Yeah, I have a peeve." Tony said
" I got it. You are hereby ordered to appear before the Senate Ard Services Committee tomorrow morning at 9 am." Marshal stated
"Can I see a badge?" Tony asks
"You wanna see the badge?" asked Marshal
"He likes the badge." Happy explained
"Still like it?" asks Marshal
"Yep. How far are we from D.C.?" Tony asks as he starts the car's engine.
"D.C.? 250 miles." Happy replied
Getting his answer Tony drives straight towards DC.
WASHINGTON D.C.
"Mr Stark, could we pick up now where we left off? Mr Stark. Please." Senator Stern
Tony turns around from where he was trying to talk to Pepper who looks like she was trying to tell him off and says "Yes dear?"
Causing the people sitting in the audience to laugh.
"Can I have your attention?" asked Senator Stern
"Absolutely." Tony said
"Do you or do you not possess a specialised weapon?" asked Stern
"I do not." replied Tony
" You do not?" Stern asked in exasperation
" I do not. Well, it depends on how you define the word weapon." Tony said
"The Iron Man weapon." Stern said
"My device does not fit that description." Tony stated
"Well How would you describe it?" Stern asked
"I would describe it by defining it as what it is, Senator." Tony said
"As?" Stern asked again
"It's a high-tech prosthesis. That is That is That's actually the most apt description I can make of it." Tony said
"It's a weapon. It's a weapon, Mr Stark." Stern said
"Please, if your priority was actually the well-being of the Arican citizen" Tony was interrupted by Stern who said
"My priority is to get the Iron Man weapon turned over to the people of the United States of Arica."
"Well, you can forget it. I am Iron Man. The suit and I are one. To turn over the Iron Man suit would be to turn over myself which is tantamount to indentured servitude or prostitution, depending or what state you're in. You can't have it." Tony stated
"Look, I'm no expert" Before Stern could complete his sentence Tony interrupted him.
"In prostitution? Of course not. You're a senator. Co on."
People laugh. He waves. Pepper does not look impressed at all. He mouths "no?" and she shakes her head.
"I'm no expert in weapons. We have sobody here who is an expert on weapons. I'd now like to call Justin Hamr, our current primary weapons contractor." Stern stated
" Let the record reflect that I observed Mr Hamr entering the chamber, and I am wondering if and when any actual expert will also be in attendance." Tony said
"Absolutely. I'm no expert. I defer to you, Anthony. You're the wonder boy. Senator, if I may. I may well not be an expert, but you know who was the expert? Your dad. Howard Stark. Really a father to us all, and to the military-industrial age. Let's just be clear, he was no flower child. He was a lion. We all know why we're here. In the last six months, Anthony Stark has created a sword with untold possibilities. And yet, he insists it's a shield. He asks us to trust him as we cower behind it. I wish I were comforted, Anthony, I really do. I'd love to leave my door unlocked when I leave the house, but this ain't Canada. "That is well said Mr Hamr. The committee would now like to invite Lieutenant Colonel Jas Rhodes to the chamber" Stern said
