Then the plundering began, and people who managed to get food survived while those who didn’t died.
They clung onto what they had, and everyone refused to leave. After that, they beca so hungry that they were only left with their skin and bones.
Ghost face appeared in the West Village a few months ago, and at that ti, the West Village was facing a severe disaster—so people wanted to seize their land.
Old Han and the others were old, while the rest were very young, and they were all as thin as branches and no match for the robbers.
Yet, the Ghost face ca and held Queen Ah-Zhu in his arms. In the end, the queen got rid of those robbers and they managed to keep their hos.
Later, Ghost face told them that really delicious food was at their feet. Old Han looked down and saw that it was a charred corpse.
However, it gave off the roasted aroma of at and had a unique taste. This taste attracted him deeply.
That was the first ti Old Han, whose eyes were red with hunger, tasted human flesh.
