"Get up little rabbit.."
Mo Ran spoked her cheeks, it was already 7 am, wasn’t she usually awake by this ti, up and about preparing to sneak out?
"I’m not a little rabbit.." Lixue yawned as she wiped the rest of the sleep off her eyes, she blinked to see Mo Ran fully dressed, this was the first ti she had actually seen him prepared for work.
"Want to wait for you and drop you off? I already know you’re a artiste under Dream Entertainnt but the reason... I can’t quite place my mind on it.."
Mo Ran lied effortlessly, he obliviously knew just how much Lixue family had taken from her and how much Lixue wanted revenge.
Lixue opened her mouth but she was left utterly speechless.
"I want revenge, they must repay x2 for what ever they’ve taken from . Since you’ve already done your digging then there’s no need for to say too much.."
Using the band she left on the table, she placed her hair into a ssy bun and turned to Mo Ran.
"Mister Mo would you like to sail on board my revenge ship?"
Lixue stretched her hand as a low smirk appeared on her lips, she wanted the two bitches of the Yu family to know that the Lixue they could push around had died twice and the one standing here didn’t take shit for an answer.
Mo Ran raised an eyebrow, watching as Lixue’s words hung in the air like a challenge. There was sothing different about her now, sothing that made his chest tighten with interest. She wasn’t the fiery and calm woman he had married right now. This Lixue was sharp, dangerous even, and she had plans—big ones.
When she extended her hand with that knowing smirk, Mo Ran didn’t hesitate. He didn’t need to hear more. He was already on board.
"Is that a serious offer, little rabbit?" he asked, his voice a smooth mix of amusent and sothing deeper. He didn’t bother to question her motivations, didn’t pause to analyze her request. The thrill of it all was too tempting.
He leaned forward slightly, his eyes locking with hers, searching for sothing he couldn’t quite define. But he was already past the point of playing gas. Lixue had put herself on his radar, and whether she liked it or not, she had deeply erged herself in his world now.
"I’m already on board," he said, his lips curving into a smirk that mirrored hers. "You don’t need to ask twice."
Lixue’s smirk widened, satisfaction gleaming in her eyes. She didn’t have to say anything more. She had Mo Ran’s attention, and that alone was a victory.
"Good," she replied, her tone steady and confident. "Because I’m not here for gas. I’m in this for one thing only: revenge. And I don’t need anyone dragging down especially you, with any lovey dovey stuff."
Mo Ran leaned back slightly, his gaze never leaving hers. "Trust , little rabbit," he said, the playful edge in his voice gone. "I’m not the one dragging you down. I can promise you that but it will be impossible to minus the lovey-dovey stuff. I’m a very intimate man."
"...."
Lixue lips twitched "Then.. "No Sex". It will be completely out of the question.."
"..."
Now it was Mo Ran’s turn to be stunned, he chuckled lowly, admiring Lixue’s morning look.
"How do we go about that Mrs Mo, my sex drive is very high, the thoughts in my mind are to ravage you completely until your legs are shaking from pleasure and you’re squirting all over the place..."
"....!!!!"
"You! Are utterly shaless!"
"Sex won’t be escaped but it won’t be done without your consent. If I didn’t care about your consent, you wouldn’t have been able to be standing on your own too feet right now.."
Lixue’s lips twitched as she smacked her head, she should have kept shut about the sex.
There was a mont of silence as they both stood there. Mo Ran knew that this wouldn’t be easy. In fact, it might get ssy. But he was intrigued, and that was all that mattered. He hadn’t been challenged in a long ti, not by anyone, not like this.
"You’re going to need ," he continued, his voice low, more serious now. "And don’t worry, I’ll be right here, every step of the way. I don’t leave things half-done."
Lixue didn’t respond imdiately. She wasn’t about to give him too much. Instead, she simply gave him a cool look and nodded. She didn’t trust him, not completely. After she didn’t know how much Mo Ran had changed from her past life.
As Lixue reached for the door, Mo Ran leaned casually against the bedpost, crossing his arms. "Hold on, little rabbit," he called after her, his voice calm but firm. "We should have breakfast together. It’s not every day I get to see you first thing in the morning."
Lixue paused, her hand resting on the door handle. She turned her head slightly, raising a brow at him. "You make it sound like I’m the one avoiding you, Mr. Mo," she said, her voice laced with amusent. "Besides, I still need to shower. Unless you want sitting at the table like this?"
Mo Ran chuckled, pushing himself off the bed and walking towards her. His towering presence always made her feel small, though she refused to show it. "I don’t mind," he said smoothly, his lips curving into a smirk. "But I doubt you’d let see you looking anything less than perfect, Mrs. Mo."
Lixue rolled her eyes, shaking her head " I couldn’t care less Mr. Mo." she muttered, reaching for the door again.
Before she could step out, Mo Ran gently took hold of her wrist, stopping her in her tracks. His touch was light, almost hesitant, but it was enough to make her turn to face him. "Take your ti" he said softly, his tone suddenly serious. "But don’t take too long. I ant what I said about breakfast."
Lixue blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in his voice. "Fine" she said finally, pulling her wrist free. "I’ll et you downstairs in twenty minutes. Don’t start without ."
Mo Ran’s smirk returned as he stepped back, giving her space. "I wouldn’t dream of it," he said, watching as she slipped out of the room.
As the door closed behind her, Mo Ran let out a small sigh. He wasn’t entirely sure why he insisted on spending ti with her this morning, but sothing about their quiet monts together yesterday... felt grounding. For soone who thrived on control, it was strange to find himself drawn to the unpredictability that Lixue brought into his life.
anwhile, Lixue walked briskly down the hall, heading to her room. Her thoughts were a whirlwind as she tried to make sense of Mo Ran’s sudden interest in breakfast—sothing they had never shared before.
"Does he always have to be so confusing?" she muttered to herself as she entered her room, shutting the door behind her. She leaned against it for a mont, taking a deep breath before moving to prepare for the day ahead.
