Hu Chengxuan burst into hearty laughter.

Mrs. Hu’s face turned red with shyness. She glared at Hu Chengxuan and said with so concern, “But I think that Doctor Qi is not soone who’s easy to deal with. Will she like our son?”
“My son, Hu Chengxuan’s son, how dare she not like him?”
Hu Chengxuan snorted coldly, “It doesn’t matter if she is just a re doctor, even if she were a Princess or a Commandery Princess, whoever my son likes must happily accept him.”

Just as she turned around, she heard Hu Keqing call out.
“Doctor Qi.”
Qi Yue steeled herself and turned back, only to be t with a pair of burning eyes.
“What’s the matter, is there sothing else?”
“Doctor Qi, could you stay with for a little while?”
“…” Qi Yue pursed her lips, “You won’t be in pain much longer.”
Hu Keqing said anxiously, “It’s not the pain I’m afraid of.”
