Chapter 1311: Chapter 1311: Beaten Ruthlessly
At this mont, Li Shuanzhu got off the plane with his woman and two children.
Hurriedly caught a taxi and rushed ho.
On the way, his phone received a call from his sister.
“Brother, you finally turned your phone on. Do you know how much has happened at ho these past few days? That bitch Liu Hong is actually asking for a divorce. She’s sold the house and storefront.
Shuanwen and I have already been kicked out.
Hurry over so we can discuss what to do. We can’t let that bitch get away with this.”
Li Guihua was thrilled she finally got through the call, knowing that their brother was the backbone of the family.
She absolutely believed that once their brother returned, Liu Hong wouldn’t escape his grasp.
Don’t be fooled by him not being educated, but his mind is sharp.
Have you not seen what Liu Hong has been turned into by their brother over the years?
Li Shuanzhu rubbed his temples.
The news was shocking, and now even the house was gone.
He looked at the two children beside him and the woman.
How did it co to this, making them holess? He thought for a mont and told the driver to find the nearest real estate agency.
There’s no way he could let the children live on the streets.
First, rent an apartnt for them so they have a place to stay.
Arriving at the real estate agency, he quickly rented a 2-bedroom apartnt.
Luckily, it was ready for move-in.
The furniture and appliances in the apartnt were all complete; they just needed to prepare so simple utensils and bedding for moving in.
“There’s money on this card. Take it and go buy so things, tidy up the house, and make so food for the kids. I’m going to see Guihua and discuss what to do next.” Li Shuanzhu took a card from his pocket and handed it to the woman.
He only had these two cards on him, and this card had only twenty thousand yuan.
The other card had forty thousand yuan.
This was probably all the money he had with him right now.
He estimated that his second uncle probably had a few thousand yuan left; after all, he went out to have fun, and the past few days’ earnings were certainly in his hands.
The woman, though sowhat unwilling, still reached out and took the card, feeling a bit resentful.
She now had to take care of his two children.
“Alright then, you go. I’ll go out to buy things.”
However, she understood the gravity of the situation; if Li Shuanzhu didn’t quickly get back the money or house, she’d be stuck with a pauper.
Li Xiang followed Li Shuanzhu out the door.
“Why are you following ? I have things to attend to. Go back and take care of your sister.”
Li Shuanzhu was sowhat impatient, but after all, he was his father.
“Dad, did Mom take all our money?”
Li Xiang asked quietly. He wasn’t a child anymore; he had overheard things the past few days about what his real mom Liu Hong had done.
“Mind your own business. This isn’t sothing for kids like you to ddle in.”
Li Shuanzhu threw out a sentence and strode off to catch a ride.
Li Xiang felt fury in his heart, wondering why he had such a mother?
She didn’t even leave them a place to live, selling the house and property behind Dad’s back. Was she planning to run away with another man?
Though he felt so guilt towards Liu Hong, he now saw that what his aunt and dad said was indeed true. This woman had ill intentions; otherwise, she wouldn’t do sothing so absolute. Didn’t she think about how her own children would live?
He hated Liu Hong deeply from the bottom of his heart.
Li Guihua hung up the phone.
She saw Li Hao sitting on a small stool, scrubbing clothes in a basin, which infuriated her.
Seeing Li Hao was like seeing that disgusting mom of hers, Liu Hong, and rembering the slaps she received, the anger surged within her.
Malice grew courageously.
“Wash those clothes properly, or else no food for you. Look at your mom, so worthless. Now she doesn’t want you anymore, don’t call her ‘Mom’ ever again.”
She slapped Li Hao twice.
Li Hao pouted, wanting to cry. She had never washed clothes before, but in these three or four days, Auntie’s attitude towards her had changed completely; either hitting or scolding, all the chores fell on her.
If she did anything poorly, it resulted in Auntie’s beating.
A complete contrast to the aunt who used to pamper and buy her treats.
Suddenly, she missed her mom.
If she were with mom, mom would never let her do such things.
“Still crying, you dare cry? If you cry again, you’ll get out! Our family doesn’t feed freeloaders. Your mom took all the money, do you know you’re eating off my money now.
Your mom doesn’t want you anymore, you’re just a burden now.”
Seeing her tears, Li Guihua’s anger burned even hotter.
Picking up a feather duster nearby, she hit Li Hao hard.
“I’ll teach you to cry, teach you to cry.”
She vented all her anger at Liu Hong onto Li Hao.
She showed no rcy.
It was as if she were hitting Liu Hong, each strike felt relieving.
Li Hao’s back, arms, and body hurt fiercely; each strike made her feel like fainting.
Crying, she begged her aunt.
“Aunt, aunt, please don’t hit , don’t hit , I’ll be obedient, aunt.”
But Li Guihua was blinded by rage, unable to hear anything, her strikes didn’t cease.
Li Hao found the pain unbearable.
She forcefully pushed against Li Guihua, frantically fleeing through the door.
Li Guihua was pushed by Li Hao, ending up in the corner of a wall, mainly because she was unprepared, otherwise how could a six-year-old have much strength?
Furious, she ran outside with the feather duster. It was a small courtyard with a door leading to an alley; Li Hao was outside.
“You dare run? I’m telling you! If you dare cross that door today, don’t ever co ho, you’ll starve to death on the street, you co back! Are you still not coming back?”
Li Guihua felt confident; Li Hao had no place to go now, scaring a little kid was the norm, right?
She received plenty of beatings as a child! But she grew up fine.
Besides, once Li Shuanzhu ca back, wouldn’t he take Li Hao away?
It was honestly just a scare.
Li Hao’s face changed from pain; she touched the places she’d been hit, they were swollen, and when her fingers touched, the pain was piercing. She had never been beaten like this.
Neither dad nor mom had ever hit her.
Li Hao understood now! Aunt wasn’t genuinely kind to her.
It was only because of their family’s money.
Li Hao turned and ran without looking back.
She moved so fast that Li Guihua couldn’t react; by the ti she did, Li Hao was long gone.
It was only then that Li Guihua realized, when her brother arrived wanting his child, how would she explain?
