[EVE]

My ti in Germany could be sumd up in two things—having fun with Cole and . . . well, fucking Cole.

To be perfectly honest, the morning after our first night together, I couldn't move. No exaggeration—I was bedridden the entire day. My lower body felt numb, and my poor, overworked vagina felt like it was on fire.

If not for Cole appearing with a stash of dicines (which, suspiciously, worked wonders), I don't think I would have recovered as quickly. When I asked why he even had those specific ointnts and painkillers on hand, he refused to et my gaze, mumbling so vague excuse.

"For ergencies," he said, clearly avoiding my raised eyebrow.

Right. Ergencies. As if he hadn't co prepared, fully expecting sothing like this to happen. I could see right through him, but since those miracle ds did their job, I decided not to press the matter further.

However, my recovery didn't co without consequences. No sooner had I regained so strength than that insatiable idiot was all over again. He didn't even wait for breakfast before pulling into another round of morning lovemaking.

Honestly, if I hadn't insisted on exploring the city and getting out of the hotel, I doubt he would have let leave the bed at all. That perverted idiot.

Since there was no new information regarding my parents yet, we decided to make the most of our stay in Germany and enjoy the holidays. Spending Christmas here felt like a good way to turn a stressful situation into sothing morable.

This ti, Cole decided to teach how to ski. It started off with a proper instructor for beginners—emphasis on started. Everything was going fine until Cole noticed that our male instructor was . . . a little too friendly. The guy wasn't just teaching—he was flirting with every woman in sight, myself included.

Now, I'd never seen Cole jealous before. He wasn't the type to lose his cool over little things. But the way his eyes darkened when the instructor smiled at ? Yeah, that was new. For a second, I genuinely thought he might punch the poor guy in the face.

Before things could escalate into a full-blown scene, I grabbed Cole by the arm and dragged him off to the side.

"Okay, okay. How about you teach instead?" I suggested, half to diffuse the tension and half because I didn't want a fistfight ruining our day.

Cole didn't say anything at first, but the smug smile on his face told everything I needed to know. He took over as my personal ski instructor, and, to his credit, he was patient . . . at first.

The truth? I was a complete ss. For the first hour, I tumbled more than I skied. I must have fallen a dozen tis, and each ti, Cole helped up with that infuriatingly amused grin. But I wasn't about to give up.

By the end of the lesson, I finally got the hang of it. Once I did, it was exhilarating. The cold wind brushing against my face, the thrill of gliding down the slope—it made forget all my problems for a little while.

I was so caught up in the mont that I didn't notice Cole had disappeared. I slowed to a stop, scanning the snowy landscape for him.

"Where's that guy?" I muttered, frowning as I looked around.

It didn't take long to find him. There he was, not far from where I stood—surrounded by a group of giggling girls. They were speaking in German, so I couldn't understand a word, but it didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on. They were flirting. With my boyfriend.

My eyebrows drew together so tightly I could practically feel them rging into one as I stomped my way toward the scene. Each step was a battle against the slippery snow, but my determination to break up this little gathering outweighed any fear of falling flat on my face.

Cole wore that usual indifferent expression, his eyes distant, as if he couldn't care less about the attention he was getting. But the group of won surrounding him didn't seem inclined to let him go anyti soon. He didn't appear particularly interested in their flirting, but that didn't matter to —I was already fuming.

When I finally reached him, I cleared my throat loudly, crossing my arms in what I hoped was an intimidating stance. The girls turned to look at , their smiles faltering slightly when they noticed my expression. Cole, on the other hand, looked amused—too amused. He knew exactly what I was thinking.

"Oh, there you are," I said sweetly, slipping my hand possessively around his arm. I gave the group a polite smile that didn't quite reach my eyes. "Sorry to interrupt, but I need to borrow my boyfriend for a mont."

Cole bit back a laugh as I dragged him away, the girls watching us with varying degrees of disappointnt. Once we were out of earshot, I turned to him with a glare.

"Enjoying the attention, were you?" I asked, trying to sound annoyed but feeling more embarrassed than anything.

Cole chuckled, pulling close. "Jealous, are we?"

I wanted to deny it, to tell him he was being ridiculous, but the words wouldn't co. Instead, I just huffed, refusing to et his gaze. Cole, being the shaless flirt that he was, took my silence as an opportunity to plant a kiss on my cheek.

"Relax," he whispered. "I only have eyes for you."

Despite myself, I felt my anger lt away. It was impossible to stay mad at him when he looked at like that—with so much affection that it made my heart race.

Still, I wasn't going to let him off the hook that easily. "Next ti you get surrounded by admirers, I'm leaving you to fend for yourself," I muttered, though the smile tugging at my lips betrayed my words.

Cole chuckled, pulling into a warm embrace, his breath brushing softly against my ear. "Fair enough," he murmured, his voice low and teasing. "But, you know, I liked when you called your boyfriend earlier . . . though I'd love it even more if you called your husband."

I felt a rush of heat rise to my cheeks and rolled my eyes, trying to mask the flutter in my chest. "Enough of that," I said, nudging him playfully. "How about another run down the slopes before your ego inflates too much?"

He grinned, leaning in closer until our foreheads touched. "Deal. But don't think I'll forget about the husband part."

And just like that, the tension was gone, replaced by the warmth of his presence and the thrill of the mont.

Germany might not have given the answers I was looking for, but it had given sothing else—mories I wouldn't trade for the world.

Even if half of those mories involved Cole being a perverted flirt.
