However, just as group two was starting on the fourth acre, Mo Chenxuan suddenly frowned.

A mont later, everyone felt a cold breeze, followed by a loud shout.

"Peak-stage, level two, ice zombie." The voice echoed.

"It’s one of the scouts. He is running towards us." Mo Chenxuan stated and turned to Lu Yanyan.

"Lu Yanyan, take care of it." He instructed, and Lu Yanyan nodded before rushing forward.

She was an ice elent superpower, and her ability was magnified in the cold winter.

Because of this, Mo Chenxuan felt assured to let her deal with the peak-stage level two zombie, although her ability was only at the late stage.

’The ice zombie’s ability is also magnified in this weather, but this is Lu Yanyan’s chance to exceed her limits. Killing the zombie will push her to advance to the peak stage, and after so ti, she can use the acquired crystal core to break through to level three.’ Mo Chenxuan thought.

In the blink of an eye, Lu Yanyan appeared before the zombie.

At the sa ti, she waved her hand and an ice wall rose from the ground, blocking the attack that was speeding towards the scout.

"Thank you, little sister Lu." The scout said and subconsciously sighed in relief.

"I will take it from here." Lu Yanyan said, her eyes narrowed into slits.

A mont later, she waved her hand and the surrounding snow gathered, forming a dozen ice spikes.

Soon after, the spikes flew towards the zombie’s head, intending to kill it in one go.

However, the zombie was not weak.

Sensing the danger, it grunted, and ice balls flew out of its mouth to block the ice spikes.

A mont later, the two attacks collided and collapsed, turning into drops of snow.

Seeing this, Qin Wu turned to Mo Chenxuan.

"It’s going to be a while." She sai,d and Mo Chenxuan nodded before calling the scout.

"How is the situation ahead?" He asked.

In fact, he already knew.

However, his spiritual ability was still a secret, so he had to ’rely’ on scouts to avoid suspicion.

"Boss Mo, I have drawn the land layout." The scout said, handing over a map.

At a glance, the map was relatively simple and only showed the position of a few buildings.

"The ice zombie was in this building." The scout inford while pointing at a building.

"What was that building before the apocalypse?" Qin Wu asked.

"It was an apartnt building." The scout said and quickly continued.

"However, the front of the ground floor had three stores. The rightmost is a launderette, the middle is a convenience store, and the leftmost is a barbershop. The ice zombie ca out of the barbershop."

"What about the surrounding buildings and this empty lot..., what is it?"

From the map, the area was a street with three buildings on one side, four on the other, and three at the end.

However, behind the three buildings on the right was a large lot that seed to have nothing in it.

"All the buildings are apartnt buildings, and have the sa setup as the previous. They all have stores on the front side of the ground floor. These stores are mainly water dispensing shops, convenience stores, and gas refilling stores."

"As for the lot, it used to be a playground but..."

"But?’ Qin Wu questioned.

"There is grass on it. It should be mutated grass."

"What about snow? Is there snow on the ground?" Qin Wu asked, but the scout shook his head.

"The entire playground is a big field of grass. There is no snow in sight." He said.

Qin Wu frowned when she heard this.

She, Mo Chenxuan, Xu Fei, and Lin Rongrong previously encountered mutated grass.

The grass could release a corrosive liquid, but fortunately, it was level one and couldn’t harm them.

Still, Qin Wu didn’t dare to underestimate the mutated grass, especially because they didn’t know its ability.

"What level is it?" She asked, but the scout shook his head.

"I can’t tell." He said.

Hearing this, Qin Wu nodded.

The scout was a level two speed ability user.

Since he couldn’t see through the grass’s level, it could only an the grass was a level three or higher mutated plant.

’I didn’t expect to encounter a level three mutated plant so close to the base.’ Qin Wu thought with a solemn expression.

Seeing this, Mo Chenxuan rubbed her hair and smiled.

"Let’s wait for the other scouts before we decide what to do." He said, and Qin Wu nodded.

Fortunately, the other scouts didn’t encounter danger or suspicious things.

However, they did map several apartnt buildings that were loaded with zombies.

After listening to all the reports, Mo Chenxuan nodded.

"Assuming each apartnt building has one hundred to two hundred zombies, we will divide into small teams of forty. Each team will hit a building and kill the zombies as soon as possible." He said, but soon narrowed his eyes.

"This ti, the small team leaders shall record whatever supplies you find and hand them over at the end of the day. Later, a portion of the supplies will be distributed according to contribution, and the remainder will be kept as territory supplies. Do you understand?" Mo Chenxuan asked, looking at everyone with a solemn expression.

He and Qin Wu spent a lot of supplies to buy the territory.

Considering that, they couldn’t be too generous and use all the supplies they found as rewards for their people.

On one hand, the territory would require a massive amount of supplies to operate, and on the other, being too generous would encourage people to take things for granted.

This was not what Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu wanted to see.

Most importantly, although the two had countless supplies, they were not saints and wouldn’t give things for nothing.

At this ti, the surrounding people nodded.

"We understand, Boss Mo." They said.

Soon after, Lu Yanyan killed the ice zombie and collected its crystal core.

However, the fight was not easy, and she looked ready to keel over.

Still, Mo Chenxuan nodded and praised her.

"Good job." He said.
